Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Helipad

#1 Post by CharlieOneSix » Mon Nov 15, 2021 3:40 pm

This view was from my room yesterday on the 6th floor of ARI looking out over the helipad. Have landed there a few times in my heyday when it was easy to get into and out of. I would think night approaches and landings nowadays are a bit more challenging due to those cranes - and that's a tall hospital building going in on that building site. It would make sense to incorporate a rooftop helipad but no idea if that is planned.

As you say, C16, it used to be easy to get in and out of - a bit restricted at present!
