Kiwi based company seems to be onto something here, despite the fact that their most recent attempt to capture the booster failed.
They have succeeded in testing at least.

The S92 which they are using to try the airborne capture has just been down in the South Island again. There doesn't seem to be anything in the local press about further trials but it was based at the local airfield for a few days and flew over the house low and slow to give us a full blast of its noise profile. Normally it's based up at the launch facility at East Cape. It's unusual to see a large helicopter here - apart from a Huey at the local field and the Air Force NH90s occasionally.
