12 months ago, a dreadful helicopter crash here on the Gold Coast

Preliminary report released 12 months after the crash....

Noted in the local rag today was the (deceased) Chief Pilots forensic study showed positive to Cocain use. No suggestion he was under the influence at the time, tested positive for Cocaine Meatabolites though, possibly 4 days previous. Accident date was 2nd Jan.

Interesting both pilots named as DAMP (Drug & Alcohol Management Plan) Supervisors., though going on to say that the Park Operator was largely responsible for that. The DAMP plans are signed off, I think, by CASA?

One can only imagine there are some lawyers raising their eyebrows??
