Nimrod's? Shacklebombers?
The RAF will provide aerial surveillance to track boats trying to make the crossing. Ministry of Defence sources said last night it was still being decided what form this could take.
Suggestion.
The 1st step is to order some suitable a/c!

Having been shown round one of the Navy's new Wildcat helicopters you would be amazed at the range of its tracking capabilities. They aren't just turning up now - without fanfare they've been carrying out maritime surveillance duties around these shores since it came into service but no doubt the junior service will get the publicity as usual.

Nobody directly involved will get any credit, if it is a success then the politicians will line up for the credit. If the press can think up anything negative to say then those directly involved will get the negativity.
