The frog was looking for a nice pond. Yes indeed, see he was injured on his quest.

Edit, never knew this:
Having originated in 1931, the Patrouille de France is the oldest formal flying aerobatic team.
'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Sir Winston Churchill.

He appears to have over-run the end of Runway 33, which is about 7,500 ft. Normal landing distance for an Alphajet is under 2,000 ft. I note his airbrakes are out. Total brake failure? There is a dropoff down to the road from the airfield.

Zut alors! Mais zee PdF have always been known for 'showmanship' (since 1931, in fact.... =)) )

Time for 'Pierre the famous French Fighter Pilot' again?

Do they have road fund licence charge en France? If so he’s parked a motor vehicle on a public road untaxed.

2nd possible offence-is it a toll road? If so, another ticket winging it’s way to the squadron.

Garçon, is he in trouble?!?!

No ejection seat tubes so it appears he bravely/foolishly stayed with it as major structural deformation approached.

I think he parked in a lay-by, actually, BM, but I understand all PdF Pilotes carry a wodge of Euro's to cover any fines. Reports are that he did eject. Don't know how the French siège éjectable works as far as 'rails' go.
