Just about the only complimentary thing I heard said about the Jav was that 'it is a stable gun platform'!

A10 1972 and still not replaceable.

I once wrote a tongue in cheek assessment that the best attack aircraft purchase the RAF could make would be a large number of turbo-prop Mosquitoes. I'm still not sure that this would be a bad idea.
