Unusual sight over central London.

A RAF C-17A has just flown over Islington at low altitude on its way to Northolt I believe. I was out for my evening walk, gave me quite a thrill.

Was it going in as a static display? Think that they could get it in but pushed to get it out. Perhaps they have some short field take off ability. Dunno. Nice aircraft though.

Another one at breakfast yesterday. Or the day before. Time passed so quickly. Ferrying useless protective gear from Turkey I believe. Whatever, I like seeing them
