US Air Force conducts successful supersonic nuclear test
A US Air Force F-35 jet conducted a successful test drop of a mock nuclear bomb while traveling at greater than the speed of sound.
I wonder how the bomb bay doors fare supersonicly speaking. Also, aerodynamics with doors open.

Re: US Air Force conducts successful supersonic nuclear test
Being of the age that I am, and when I joined the RAF, during 1st gen jet a/c, we in the air radio trades had it drilled into us that aerials that stuck out were now very much a no-no!
Now we see pictures of a/c such a the Tornado and Typhoon, absolutely festooned with external stores!
Cynicism improves with age

The current official list of nuclear club members (minus one or two) and Israel allows me to sleep peacefully. Most of the ones wanting to join the club makes me look with admiration on the Operation OperaUndried Plum wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 8:49 amHoorayh for civilisation.

Not Iraq at all. However it seems a certain Iranian professor with an interesting occupation has been eliminated.

UP, Iran has some ideas, but a fellow on a blog I am reading, makes a reference to the meeting between Israeli PM a Kingdom's High official and the US Secretary of State.
