Naked Air Marshal

#1 Post by Ex-Ascot » Mon Feb 14, 2022 5:11 am

So, he forgot to put his clothes on, so what. I often have to think if we have staff here or not.

Good job, then, he wasn't a Harrier pilot with all that thrust. :))

As long as his ceremonial sword was sheathed I cannot see why the neighbours should be upset?

On a serious note, is it either a civil or criminal offence to be naked on one’s own premises?

Either way I’m sure he was quite a civil chap and not guilty of malicious action.

Were the neighbours perched on the wardrobe in their upstairs bedroom glued to binoculars, such was their distress? =))

It has to be 'behaviour unbecoming' at the CM, doesn't it?

About 35 years ago one of our helicopter pilots upset his neighbours when he was wandering around naked in his own garden. :-o Odd chap, he didn't stay with us for very long.

I fancy that once you hit the Daily Wail the future is not bright! I feel sorry for his 'new' daughter and any other family. New partner presumably knew what she was taking on (as did the ex :)) )

No it is not an offence unless he did it on purpose to offend which I am sure he didn't. The neighbours are just making a fuss because of his status. Bet they do not get on. His boss is a decent guy. I am sure that it will come to nothing. He is going to take some ribbing though.

I don't think 'exposure' can be excused here as 'accidental. I am also pretty sure his career 'possibilities' have been dented.

'Exposure' is when you get your tackle out in the middle of Piccadilly Circus. He was just wandering about his own private garden and the neighbours were spying on him. OK we do not really have neighbours here but if I had done the same in Oxfordshire our neighbours would have just laughed. There is a problem between the neighbours in this case. There will be no police action and he will return to work.

Also he is one from the top and 54. Don't think that he is going any further. He will retire to France to manage a nudist colony.

Ex-A sez:-“OK we do not really have neighbours here but if I had done the same in Oxfordshire our neighbours would have just laughed.”

Oop in north England my neighbours are used to the fact that I’m several tomatoes short of the full picnic, so if I slip out discreetly to the bins at the back of the house they don’t get upset at the vista!

But of course the temperature at this latitude may be a factor in them (a) not noticing my state and (b) even if they did spot a buttock or two there wouldn’t be an outstanding issue about which to get excited... =)) :))

One has should have a designated "nude day" every month! I mean, don't you? :-o =))

Every Englishman's home is his nudist castle! If a chap, even an Air Marshal, can't let it all hang out, once in a while, then what kind of world do we live in I ask you? ;)))

The neighbours are probably just jealous of the Air Marshal's mighty sceptre...

As ever the Wail had to give us the valuation of his home... 8-|

I'm sure that is the case, but it displays a lack of common-sense/judgement to then 'expose' yourself to this issue, does it not? A bit like deliberately stepping out in front of a truck. Let's hope you are on his CM.

"I wonder what will happen if those problem neighbours see me wandering around starkers in the garden next to them?" It was obviously judged to be enough of a problem for a 'community resolution'. Definite lack of judgement.

One would have thought, that in this case, the neighbours might not have been able to see the wood for the trees! =))

I am sure that even Air Marshal's can be forgiven for a quick nude run to get their scants off the washing line!

It's a shame RAF Sylt is not still active - he would have made a good base commander. =))

Was he also a part time 'frogman' of odd extraction?
