With just 7 days to the first 'public' display at Le Touquet the seat auction is in full swing. All seats bar 1,6 and 7 are up for grabs it seems. The Display commentator is going to have his work cut out.................

Colour me (red, white and blue) confused! The Arrows Twatter feed for 21/5 claims this view 'out of the window'.
Twatter heading
"Adam Collins
@PilotCos
ยท
May 21, 2019
A couple of shots from the office window today! Cpl Ashley Keates."
1,2,3,4........
Nine-ship seems to be going quite well.............. mind you, 4 and 5 are wide

I am not going to say, it would be defamation but I have my bets on one of them. I have told Mrs Ex-Ascot who will confirm if I am correct. Beers for everyone in Maun if I am wrong. No, sod it, champagne.
No because you said that the synchro pair were still on.
Just had a look on TOP. No guesses there either.

They now have PDA as a 7-ship. I can identify the former 2,6,8 and 9 in the latest piccy on Twatter but cannot ident the 3 at the back although I would hazard a guess at 1 being the one completely hidden.
WARNING: PURE GUESS WORK! - logically if ex-8 and 9 are still there, they will probably now be flying the 4 and 5 slots in the 7-ship, which means, I think, one of them 2 (ex-4 and 5) is the guilty one
I expect a shortened display with less synchro work as 6 and 7 will normally fly 8 and 9 slots in the big formation.
All should become clear very soon. First 'public' display Le Touquet on Saturday.

Can anyone speculate on the reason for the exclusion? Was the misdemeanour that serious? - or was it simply a case of discipline?
RiS, if could get yourself into the officer's mess bar you would probably find out. Don't you know any officers from the base?
By the way glad to see Snoopy is back.
I realised I may have a contact within the base a bit closer than I think. Provided there isn't a solid wall in the flight line between pilot and other staff and I would ask the questions correctly.
Unfortunately my contact is from the other side of the fence in the civil sector of the field and is not familiar with the base events.

It continues to be a mystery. All 9 pilots (well, according to the MOD page that is) displayed with 7 aircraft at Le Touquet yesterday and returned to Scampton today. I'm really surprised the Daily Wail has not managed to get the info.

9 people good and true flew today it seems.
Has there ever been a female Arrow? Not that it matters, but given that, at last, women are getting their shot at these things. I am interested to hear.
People like Patty Wagstaff or the Russian lady would, rightly, sneer at me...
Wasn't there also a question of her being involved with Red 1?

Finally a peep behind the curtain, from the team FB page:
"Flying with the Red Arrows over London - spot Buckingham Palace below and many other landmarks. This was the spectacular view point of Red 4, Squadron Leader Jon Bond.........."
Considering MOD still tell us he is Red 8, there is obviously some rebellion in the ranks....
My latest 'guess' (E&OE) is Red 4 (Will Cambridge) had had a little too much Greek sherbet, and Red 9 (David Simmonds) had to be dropped in the re-shuffle. Purely by chance, he has just been promoted to S/Leader......... Who knows?

I am with you on that assessment Boac. Next we have to find out what crime he committed.
