The main road (E75) from Helsinki north to, eventually, Norway will be closed about 200km north of Helsinki from 25/9 to 30/9 as the Finnish airforce is activating a road runway.
Aircraft using it will be Hawks, F18s and others.
This hasn't happened for several years.
There are several, many, such airfields in Finland.

Re: Finns preparing for war?
Around 1965/66 the Soviet Early Warning line was extended from the 240 nm arc from Russian and East German territory to an arc from the SW corner of Finland.
The expectation was that Soviet forces would have quickly overrun Finland and established an early warning radar west of Turku. It was said this would be linked back to Russia using the Band 1 domestic TV network.
This change meant that the V Force would need to descend somewhat earlier with a knock on effect on our low level penetration.
Although it was expected that Finland would be occupied we also had 10 points in Finland where evading aircrew were to go to. The plan was to hide within a 1500 metre radius of the RV but could forage out to 5 km.
We were not given any further information on recovery. We had small scale Silk maps but were not allowed to mark the positions on any maps nor make any notes.
I would allocate an RV that was near an exit route to a crew. I expect that EinE study would have been much more intense had the balloon gone up.
