Oh the irony, he’s flying to Scotland in a French built aircraft =)) =)) =))
RAF News - 1 August 2022

It seems these two Falcon 900s have been renamed Envoy IVs and are the RAF replacement for the BAe 146. They are being flown by mixed RAF and civilian pilots. From April 2024 they will be modified with military upgrades and operated solely by crews from 32 (The Royal) Squadron.

Hmm, mixed RAF and civilian crews flying civilan registered aircraft? An interesting pilot licensing situation, no doubt a CAA dispensation.

Did Johnson and Truss fly separately?
If so, why not together? Or would there have been too many hangers on?

They flew in separate aircraft, no idea why.

The Green agenda is paramount ..... except where political egos are concerned.

"I'll get the butler to check."

Could it be that is the same mode as not having the Queen on the same a/c as the PoW and P.William not on the same a/c as his Dad?? So that any disaster is lessened?? Just a thought.

No I do not think so. Any politician can be replaced by anyone of the 67 M population of the UK. Bit limited with the Royal Family. Interestingly the Princess of Wales asked for dispensations on this rule from HMQ.

Nah - the partners just wanted the junket of a flight to and from Scotland IMO.

Junket:-
an extravagant trip or celebration, in particular one enjoyed by a government official at public expense.
