Prosecutions resulting from the 'Irish troubles'

#1 Post by Boac » Sun Nov 27, 2022 7:46 pm

I was under the impression that ALL cases were to be dropped following the GF agreement. Why has this Army man been tried and convicted when the crimes on the other side are going un-prosecuted?

Probably because he didn't get the "Get-out-of-jail" letter from TC Blair.

4Ma - I thought everybody got the letter? Wasn't that the 'agreement'? Who changed it?

Fox - I think you are off script here - there was supposed to be no 'business' for Mrs Bliar as there were to be no 'cases'?

Still waiting to know why 'the other side' have not been charged.

Only one side got the letter .....and it wasn't the good guys. You don't think the Government would look after its own troops do you?

Thanks for correcting my false understanding. Yet another government 'con'.
