SLF has left us

SLF went from being Nervous SLF to Happy SLF, and obviously now being totally cured of all his fears of being an SLF has now chosen to resign from our community. Trying to think whether that's good or bad. Anyone know anything different?

There is the option to resign in the User Control Panel, although it does not allow deletion of postings.

I am stunned. I don't think anyone has upset him. Perhaps he did it in error? I hope so, as I really enjoyed his posts from NZ. If he is reading in as a guest-come back Happy :YMHUG:

I can't imagine why he would do that. I've always enjoyed his posts and I don't recall anyone pissing him off. Come back, SLF, come back. SLF, come back, come back. (Think: the movie Shane) :D

I just tried to send him a pm over yonder, but he is not allowed to receive messages. He posted over there yesterday. Hope everything is OK with him and his family.

I have backups of the database which would include his previous details like email address. If he has chosen to delete all of his details, not sure about the ethics of digging them out in order to ask why? Bit out-of-order init? If people attempt to contact him via other means then in my book that's okay.

Well, if people have been members of the community there for decades and then it appears they get repressed for just being here - well, it's understandable, I guess.

Weird - when I click on his name, I don't get an option to send a pm - but when I clicked on yours, Limey the option comes up (I didn't actually try and send you one though).

Octo-when I tried I got a message that said he was either not allowed to receive pm's or he had chosen not to receive them as 500N said. I hope everything is OK with him. I hate it when our friends just vanish :-s
