Charlie 16 aka C16

#1 Post by TheGreenGoblin » Sat Mar 07, 2020 12:54 am

A bloody decent man, a legend, and a pilot who has much to tell us lesser folk...

He and FD2 have made a huge impact on my life, even by proxy, and I thank then both.

No idea where C16 is and what is happening to him and those he loves , but I would like to tell him that I am flying into Perth on the 4th of April and would love to buy him a beer.

I have a nagging feeling we may have lost him over the 'Cancer' thread? If so, a great shame.

I think we lost him for having too muc of a "diva status" as wanting to leave and then return

And without email we have lost a back channel.

Unless we have a 'board buddy' that we keep in touch with off board it is frustrating people just disappearing.

Hi guys - Thanks to FD2 for drawing my attention to this thread. I've just been on temporary leave of absence, nothing more. One or two health issues here to deal with plus a frustration with some of the posts and I took some time out. I've contacted TGG about his Perth visit.

As for this, I can't make sense of his post and have no idea what he's on about......

Maybe I confused the users but there was a potential or active helicopter pilot who couldn't make his mind about leaving or staying here. And it seems Admin decided for him - in the most practical way - he was kicked out by the Boss. Obviously the member was not C16.

I think that was resolved several weeks ago and that one is back. C16 may know more. B-)
