Re: henry crun thanks.
Well maybe I shouldn't have visited? All I seem to have done is to create confusion. Sorry about that.
Re: henry crun thanks.
Quite acceptable for a "Bull at a Gate". At least there were no breakages.

See Lord Lucan is now officially dead. Odd that as I had a beer with him the other day.

Ex-A, I thought you was him.

Yes well, and now my son has taken my title. Lose my personal seat at the local pub with the crown on it.

I'm with limeygal - he's Mike-wsm, and his website has this identification. I quite like(d) him, despite him being somewhat 'volatile'.
I hope it'll be clarified soon.

Now I'm thoroughly confused. (A normal state of mind for me)
Are you saying, or insinuating, that you - Ex-Ascot - are indeed Henry?

I'm totally confused but can confirm that Ex-Ascot is not Lord Lucan ..or indeed Henry Crun!. ..or. ..
RAF 32 Sqn B Flt ; Twin Squirrels.

Old Henry Crun (or maybe young Henry Crun) posts there these days. As an aviation aside (with reference to the link) it is good to see that Bronco team and Tony De Bruyn up and running again after this happened here at Kemble a couple of years ago...

Re: henry crun thanks.
Have a soft spot for Henry Crun, including the one who directed me here. Picture the scene in a Grade 10 Montreal chemistry class and two bored ex pat students are paired lab partners (big mistake Mr Rhodes). Brian says in HC voice: ooh Min, careful with that tube. TB (recognising voice) responds in MB tone and so it goes for the rest of the year. Fellow students back away and teacher wonders what's going on. He's unable to say much 'cos we're generally well behaved. In response to a question I can't remember, I wrote 'baby blue.' Mr Rhodes marked us down stating just a primary colour reaction is sufficient. For a personal infraction I was given 100 lines to write out the speed of light is a 186,000 miles per second. Dunno why I wrote them in German, a language I've never studied formally, just being a smart arse I guess. Thank goodness for a 90% multiple guess, 10% essay exam at the end with a B+ result.
Re: henry crun thanks.
I rather miss henry crun's posts as well, and appreciated the "Henry Crun/Minnie Bannister" ethos from the 1950s, when my grammar school classmates were adept at all of the Goon Show character's funny voices from the back row during the more boring passages of Caesar's Gallic Wars translation.
In his "henry crun" username he continued to promote the charms of Weston-Super-Mare (yes, I've been there, and quite liked it!), that got frequent references in his previous existence as "mike-wsm" at TOP. Everyone ought to be allowed the occasional "hissy-fit" mike, Elton John is still popular despite his record for these, so why not consider giving it another go?
And on this general theme, who has upset wgw2, who disappeared abruptly yesterday? His posts in the "Last 2 Letters" thread have been very worthy ...

As part of the ethos of this site new members are free to register and contribute, and also to cancel their registration, with minimal hindrance. Cancellations and re-registrations aren't that uncommon. The only requirement for new members to register is some very basic aviation knowledge, which is easily acquired via Google.
Along with wgw2, Beaufort also departed our shores a few days back. Reasons unknown. I would stress that members are free to leave, but they will always be welcome back should they choose to rejoin our community. I am aware that some have cancelled their registration, yet regularly return as guests to keep up to date. This is evident from guest IP addresses.
For some cancellation might be a well thought out decision, mulled over for a long period, whilst for others just a "hissy fit", "I am outa here" action. Either way everyone is welcome back with no recriminations or headlines noting same. So if visiting as an ex-member, please come back and contribute. Everyone who chooses to leave us will be missed.
Hugs Alison

I think he may have more important things to worry about at the moment, but I hope he comes back when Mrs B has recovered , Trabbforce fully on and aimed in their direction .
When all else fails, read the instructions.

But why un-register?

I am also upset about it. I hope he is reading in anyway, and knows we are all missing him.

Re: henry crun thanks.
Wodrick, we got to 180 with Cpt Pugwash having registered twice. Cancelled his old registration as requested, then wgw2 and Beaufort left leaving the current 177.
