A demanding day at Oshkosh...

gusting as high as 27 knots made for a 70-90 degree crosswind for pilots landing on 36L/R.
Goto 19:59 for a wild ride (very close to disaster).

Classic C-180 ground loop starts 6:27.
My necessaries are embark'd: farewell. Adieu! I have too grieved a heart to take a tedious leave.

I remember being at Stansted one day and watching all the big jets decide to go around.
