Finnair have cancelled all flights on their e-jets tomorrow.
I suspect it is a tech problem but have no more information.

Does the issue impacts only Finnair?

Re: Finnair Embraer
The answer is I don't know.
It was the second item on the national news this morning and all that was said was that it is a technical problem.
I have tried googling but it doesn't seem to give any more information.
Finnair website has no information.
Just had a look at HEL departures/arrivals and, although their were cancellations this morning, it seems that their are no e-jet cancellations, yet, for later in the day.

Re: Finnair Embraer
As you probably know, talmacapt, there are problems with the engines on some Embraer series at the moment. It's mainly the P&W-powered ones, but I wonder if there's a common component that's been identified as a trouble-maker?

Re: Finnair Embraer
So probably either airframe related or a tech support issue

I didn't know that Tango, you may well be correct.
I noticed that the Ivalo flight earlier was an atr whereas it is usually a jet
Takes about 21/4 hours in an atr whereas only 11/2 in a jet.
Expect Finnair have spare a/c on a Saturday.

Re: Finnair Embraer
It seems that some, perhaps all, Finnair e-jets are back in the air today.
