Is this degree of vibration normal on a steep take-off ?

STOL take-off
Re: STOL take-off
Yes, but rarely do pilots get to see the results.
It reminds me of the taxy out to the southerly runway at Frankfurt (in a 737) which used to have a 'resonant' frequency bounce due to the laying of the slabs (I think it was at about 15kts). Back in the days when aviation was fun (would you believe that?) we used to get an amply equipped stewardess up for the taxy out......

Re: STOL take-off
Used to get more vibration than that just taxying BN2A's in PNG. Given the almost continuous rain there they weren't known as puddle-jumpers for nothing. Mind you we used to get biiiiiig puddles up there, was suggested we fit floats for the rainy season even for the supposed dry strips.
In-flight entertainment consisted of yours truly singing the Flanders and Allen hippopotamus song "Mud, mud glorious mud", but only when the sole English speaker on-board. Don't think the locals really appreciated it somehow.
