Me too, ( Dubai ) I recall the sailing club, where we did the water skiing - I could have been one of that group ! - was upstream past the ( only) bridge. We stayed in the only 4 storey building on the waterfront, one of the few hotels. ( The Grand ? ) Also recall visiting the Souk, and buying a 1 Oz gold bar, think it cost me $12 US ? Still have it - somewhere !
