Had to delay the flight by 1 day. It was worth the wait.

Beautiful! Happy memories of Innsbruck. I assume it is VFR only?

Sort of. There is a RNP arrival but it's really more of a cloud break as it finishes around 9500'. Airfield elevation is 5600'.
We need to do sim practice every year for it.

Had a very hairy arrival and departure from there some years ago. Very windy, we were all over the shop. Our principle pax came onto the flight deck on landing and we said to her that we would see her back there in a week. No you will not she said, you can pick me up from Geneva. Departing empty we hit a down draft trying to get over a lump of granite. It was a very close call.

It is definitely a challenge when it's breezy. Innsbruck and Chambery can be quite hairy too when the breeze is blowing.

Somehow don't think we could get a 10 into there. It was bad enough with the 748.

Popped into Samedan and Sion over the weekend. Similar views, a smidge more hazy, a bit less snow.
