Bugger, I'll have to drink that magnum of Zandvliet Shiraz on my own.

I know that blowing away a few evil gnomes is good for the soul Caco, but in his present state I wouldn't let him within 10 feet of my armoury.

BTW mate who the hell gave you permission to go on the wagon? You know you can't self-flagellate without your friends okaying it (and we wouldn't). At least when you get to the Slasherdigs you won't be knocking off the 'shine behind me back, but surely you'll de-wagonise (alight?) while you're here!

Right. I'm accompanying Ap to the Bhud temple tomorrow to pray for your safe return to alcoholery. 🙏

There I go with the bad advice again. You are, of course, quite right.Slash.

Fly has finally replied to my PM. He is still depressed but doesn't appear to be the total mess he was before.

Cape - he told me to pass you his regards.

Thanks Slash, I too have had an answer from him which indicates he is as you said, returning to a better state of mind. He knows there are people who care and I hope he will continue to make progress and move away from the bad place he's been in.

Well done to Slash and Cape for helping our fellow member through an extremely difficult time, I’m sure we’ve all been hoping for a good result and are wishing flyinverted a great future ^:)^

Took my Fiesta in for service plus MoT/ITV today and Ford didn't have a courtesy car ready. Bugger. Came home on the bus, which being Spain cost me twice the price of a London ticket. Bus sparkling new and highly electronic, unlike the very smelly passengers. Expected to have to climb the mountain back to our house on foot, but Mrs OFSO despite broken bones drove the Big Ford down to pick me up, despite never having driven it before and not used to dealing with some of Mr Ford's computerised devices.
