You'd need more than a sock, more like a Santa's hat to cover that bloke's joystick! =))

Looks like a Twotter "cockpit" to me apropos of nothing!

Back in 67 was in the Star Mountains in PNG doing stream sampling , as it was still very remote and pretty much unexplored we had a Kiap and some police boys with us,One morning a bunch of locals wandered into camp and they were all buck naked except for penis gourds but the one doing most of the jabbering was a cut above the others as his idea of the best dressed man was to have a hollowed out D cell battery as a penis gourd.I thought christ I hope he got all of the acid out of that before he fit it.
Just shows that necessity can be the mother of invention.
Have a few more stories from that trip tht I can post.

I'm currently wearing a surgical stocking on one leg (the one with thrombosis) - ok, tights, or tight, singular, but a sock on the other, non-tight, foot. In order to provide equilibrium in the washing machine I put the other sock of the pair on over the tight on the other foot. Now I have thermal inbalance, one foot is warmer than the other. Might be easier to put the spare tight on over the non-thrombosis leg. But Herr Doktor told me I have not pulled the tights up far enough. Any further, and I'll be joining the soprano section in Winchester Cathedral boy's choir.

I am only familiar with not pulling them DOWN far enough.

I'm surprised they didn't give you a stocking for each leg.1 hip replaced,2 very tight stockings fitted. To stop thrombs they said.

Thrombosis only on one leg. Caused by (yet another) stupid accident.

Been a fraught year! There have been not-my-fault accidents and should-have-known-better accidents and stupid my-fault accidents.....

A tortoise weighing 40-50 lbs. and the size of a large serving platter is a little easier to notice than a 3/4" piece of PVC sticking up 6".

I too have many mismatched socks, almost every wash, once on the line or out of the dryer, there will be 5 socks or 7 or, alternatively 8 socks but unable to form 4 pairs.

The exception seems to be my 'outlandish' socks. Perhaps, if wearing a white business shirt with drees pants / trousers, I'll break that white / black / grey thing with brightly coloured socks!...just fum....but ya know, those pairs never get lost! Bright blue socks with multi colored polka dots never seem to lose sight of each other...

Success, raided Mrs PN sock drawer and reassembled several pairs.

Still had two very similar shaded socks. At the point of assuming one was faded Mrs PN produced one more. Now have one half pair.

Pulling the Laundry Machines out from the wall, I discovered one of my socks lurking there. One discovered, tens to go..

Mrs PN has 18 socks hiding somewhere and none of them is one of my new, worn once, hiking socks.

The answer is to sew a tape between the two socks before you commit them to the laundry.
