Conspiracy Theories - are they a conspiracy?

There is a need for a separate thread on this since others are going well off topic.

‘Snot only the Ruskies who believe the late lab-leak conspiracy theory, much derided at the outbreak of the plandemic but now conspiracy fact, as even the US officials reluctantly admit it was outsourced to Wuhan to avoid the Obama ban;

Is this another easily grasped excuse by Vlad the Mad to ramp up the temperature or is it just Big Power politics willy-waving as they do? :-?

Now you are telling us that some Russian is accusing the US of getting up to nasty tricks, that is worth a good Sunday morning chuckle!

You have obviously conveniently forgotten the statement by Peter Daszak*, uttered in 2015, long before the Chinaah Virus made its appearance, but carry on using the CIA technique of accusing any dissenters of being “conspiracy theorists”.

I do understand it is sooh embarrassing when a conspiracy theory becomes a conspiracy fact, especially for those who throw the term around liberally at folk with whom they disagree but sh1t happens.

Here’s another article which must be a conspiracy theory, despite the extensive quotes from official documentation, because the author has an Eastern European sounding name, therefore... :-w

https://brownstone.org/articles/proof-v ... ermeasure/

* A quick search in O-N of this name will lead you to the 2015 pot of gold at the rainbow’s end!

'Conspiracy fact', what is that? Is it like Trump's 'alternative facts'? =))

I thoroughly enjoyed this Chemtrail lunacy debunking video some years back...

The woman is a complete lunatic, a bit like most chemtrail delusionists...

Check out her playlist...

It is quite sad really, as the woman clearly believes the errant nonsense that she spouts... and continues to spout. There is no arguing with a loon.

Maybe we could start on this one as well.

An early experiment on a spacecraft which I help launch released barium powder into orbit. At the time I believed what I was told: it was to deleanate lines of magnetic force. Thinking back and considering over which country the release took place and how today the inhabitants are mostly madder than March Hares, I suspect I was part of an international conspiracy which will end in 2024 when Trump is reelected.

Oh dear! More sleepless nights. :-o

"Barium is surprisingly abundant in the Earth's crust, being the 14th most abundant element. High amounts of barium may only be found in soils and in food, such as nuts, seaweed, fish and certain plants.
Because of the extensive use of barium in the industries human activities add greatly to the release of barium in the environment. As a result barium concentrations in air, water and soil may be higher than naturally occurring concentrations on many locations."

I suspect your contribution would have had no effect whatsoever, especially if released 'in orbit'!

The occasional re-fill of the Barium dispenser compartments on the 737s I flew is a different matter :-? .

Wiki says:

A 2.5kg "bomb" of barium is one item of equipment on board HEOS-A, the European satellite launched from Cape Kennedy on December 5. Planned by the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial...etc

I need hardly draw your attention to the keywords "bomb" and "extraterrestrial" in this extract. My goodness, little did I know, callow youth that I was.

"HEOS-1 also released a canister of barium and copper oxide on 18 March 1969 some 75 000 km out from Earth – igniting it 40 km from HEOS – in order to trace distant magnetic field lines."

Magnetic field lines are of course associated with propulsion systems of certain alien spacecraft, and as for copper oxide, well!

No-one has commented on the switch options for the Chemtrails in tango's picture................ =))

Now, THAT is serious conspiracy theory.
I always preferred this version with the Co-Pilot eject option :)) :))

Indeed - had you been more mature you could have concentrated your skills on a way to dispense the Chump from orbit.

I may have missed some out...I leave it to the other weather fundis here to add to the list...
Someone blamed a "low-flying RNZAF Hercules spreading chemtrails" for the cloud streets that appeared over Auckland just before the January 27th flooding event. ;)))

Once got cornered by a very spaced-out individual at a party who demanded to know what those 'chemtrails' appearing behind Airliners engines were.

I told him that it was 'Di Hydrogen Monoxide*. Very nasty stuff, kills many people every year!!'

He staggered away, loudly proclaiming that he now had the truth!!

I left shortly afterwards as it wan't much of a party! Too many illicit, mind altering substances being consumed by too many bogans!

* Well, lots of people drown every year, 'cos they can't swim!
