I'm enjoying all the memes and slogans, some are pretty good from both sides. This morning's offering is

Corbynite MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle showed the true face of Labour on Radio 5 today. He stated that nobody should be a billionaire in the UK. Everybody should be wealthy, he said. And where will everybody get that wealth? They will steal it from those who have money already. Be very afraid.

Does he mean, if Amazon had been a UK company, it wouldn't have been allowed to succeed?

Woody, a bit early for GE manifestos various to be refined and available? Especially for brand spanking new party?

Have a ferret around in here and you’ll find more direct language and info than most of the “establishment” parties;

Brexit Party and Manifesto, not usually seen in the same sentence :D
Well it seems leavers and doing things in half like the chief of the leaving campaign who did not stay to see his campaign to fruition only to win the referendum.
Comment added after barkingmad's comment. I will have a look although I can't vote. The leaving party here did have some crazy and dangerous ideas.

LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said Britain’s left-wing opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn would be “so bad” for Britain if he becomes prime minister in December’s general election.

“Corbyn would be so bad for your country. He’d be so bad, he’d take you in such a bad way. He’d take you into such bad places,” Trump said in an interview on Thursday with Britain’s LBC Radio conducted by the head of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage.

Crikey - that could just push me to vote Labour :ymdevil:

Are we certain that Chump’s utterances are not part of an American comedy show?

I’m old and ugly enough to remember Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-in so is it possible these utterances have strayed from the cutting room floor and have been accidentally transmitted?

“ Veeery interesting, but stoopid”.

Corbyn today; “Our NHS is not for sale!”.

John Prescott some time ago; “Our air (traffic control) is not for sale!”.

Well, the first cleansing of the stables has happened and Bercow is history, hopefully a few more to go shortly. Now the big question is who are we going to replace them with, Dianne Abbot, Jumbo Thornbury and little Miss Colgate, spirits sink.
I am listening to Donald and Nigel on LBC, it is very interesting, the Deal is coming under scrutiny and it sounds as though we can't do a deal with the US if we sign up to the EU Treaty, he has confirmed that the US has no interest or can understand why they have been accused of grabbing the NHS, he thinks it has been invented by Corbyn, well fancy that.

Can someone better informed than me explain why UK MPs must use social meeja as part of their comms suite?

Being a sad ould hasbeen I have never been trolled, insulted nor had threats of harm or death on the Twitter sphere, snapnumpty or any other of Andrew Neill’s excellent spoof yoof orientated message media. ‘Cos I don’t use them!

Whilst I appreciate it is very upsetting and disturbing to our elected reps especially the females, if they weren’t using such media it’s unlikely they’d notice the trash pumped out by the nutters and the extremists.

The anonymity provided by these means allows such threats to go on with great difficulty in tracing the perpetrators but I have to assume that most e-mail addresses can be tracked down and therefore present a risk of detection to undesirables using that medium.

Alas the white-hot rage being expressed in these threatening messages has to be taken as the sensor of public anger at the recent HoC occupants who’ve broken their promises to their electors on so many occasions. And the overloading of scarce police resources during the Climate protests recently means it will be more difficult to maintain public order.

But still THEY don’t won’t can’t see the peasants’ resentment and the usual surprise and shock horror will be expressed if the pot boils over soon.

It'll f*cking bleed when there are no more billionaires and they come for your money. The billionaires will just move abroad.

First they came for the billionaires, and we did nothing, for we were not billionaires (and we never liked them much anyway).
Then they came for the millionaires, and we did nothing, for we were not millionaires.
Then they came for those with a net worth of between a quarter and a half a million (including property and pensions), and the ex-Service officers rose up.
And the entire Labour Party joined Boris, in a ditch.
And it was all over by ten to five, for there was a Barrel On.

Suggestion for Brexit Party - run in every seat where the Tories did not come first, and against every Tory remainer incumbent. This puts the pressure back on Boris without much risk of letting in Corbyn.

At 1030 this morning UK time there is a statement from the Brexit Party, with Nigel Farage outlining his plans, LBC has announced that Nigel is not permitted to present his show due to his involvement politically.

It can be seen here, transmitted live at 1030.

Interesting suggestion Fox3, BP are welcoming suggestions on their website.

Most satisfying listening to the spat ‘twixt Bercow and the MP who tried to flag up the Keith Vaz issue with limited success. Despite Bercow’s 6 minute rant at the MP I feel Andrew Bridgen came off best!

Bridgen’s killer-punch, not featured in the video, is right at the beginning of the video before the start of the rant.

More; https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/10/w ... able-spat/

I hope few will genuinely regret the departure of this nasty and bigoted little man who has wrecked the reputation and status of the HoC Speaker-supposedly impartial ! ?
