Some need to absorb the fact that puerile name-calling, mocking, "othering" with memes and labels, is unhumorous and unkind.

This whole thread has been one long display of racism and bigotry usually found in a hairdressers salon. Perhaps the regulars here are also regulars at the local hairdressers?

Bottom line, I think the direction of this thread has lost any humour.

As I said, nobody is forced to read it.

My view is that it's simply boring and has become somewhat puerile, and I accept having contributed to that. It's a bit like a bunch of blokes talking crap in the pub. If you don't like it, you can leave.

The vast majority here don't like it and for a long while it's been running through many threads here. Perhaps the perpetrator(s) can leave.
