No big deal. The usual fix offered to ie. Spanish royalty and top ministers and their advisors and the Church will be in with offers to repay the money at some trifling rate over the next billion years, and no interest. And once the first few euros are paid, under Spanish law prosecution can't go ahead.

Restrictions being relaxed here from next Monday as infections dropping. However with hardly anyone having been vaccinated we can guess what comes next.

My first thought was that this was a carnival float built but not used this year. That was also my second thought. The news of cocaine found inside confirmed it!

Looked at that linked video, brave man standing on that submersible. They should just stick a limpet on it.

Magnet and hawser if they are being benevolent, explosive if not.

Just had warning on TV News. Infection rate rising rapidly in Catalunia. If you're out on the street, get indoors. If you are indoors, open the window. Really.

(If you're a cat, make your mind up).

As of March 30th, anyone entering Spain from France by rail or road must present a current negative Covid test. The border crossing at La Jonquera is crowded at the best of times so it will be chaos at Easter.

Still, its about time restrictions were applied to borders with a country where the citizens refuse vaccines, don't wear masks, don't separate and don't wash hands.

Mossas d'Esquadra stopping French motorcycle clubs out for a run here. From the Mossas vehicles and expression on rider's faces, it looks like they might even be confiscating the bikes. Patrols also in the national park. Ignored farmers stuffing a protesting sheep into the back of a Suzuki Vitara. Somehow I think there'll be fresh 'lamb' for sale in the market before mid day.

Screams of rage here from hoteliers, restauranteurs and bar owners as Catalunia slips back into lockdown from today and tourists cancel bookings and reservations. Blinded by the light shining out of Macron's arse they are unable to see the success one country has made of their vaccination program and instead the hapless government embraces one bit of fake news after another. Is the AZ vaccine suitable for over 70's ? 60-65 ? The under 60's ? Depends on which day of the week it is. Meanwhile ICU's are today at maximum occupancy, says Catalan TV tonight.

A massive op here today involving all the various flavours of police setting up roadblocks to check driving licences as there are so many fakes in use. Many arrested, many fleeing, doubtless back to Rumanian lands....

Now in the fourth week of no postal deliveries to our Urbanisation. I asked a friend who is living about 150 metres from the post office. She said they get post once a fortnight "because of Covid, the PO is short-staffed". Covid still endemic in Spain? Not what the TV news says...
