EU 'negotiator' Michel Barnier has warned that Nigel Farage want to ' get into the EU so he can destroy it from the inside.' Listen up, Froggy, it's called 'Democracy'. Farage has a policy regarding the EU, he tells the public what that is, if the public like it, they vote for him and he becomes an MEP. Not like the EU version of democracy where you and your unelected buddies get into positions of power and tell us peons what is best for us and what to do.

I would happily support Nigel Farage on that agenda.

Actually Barnier is an elected MEP, but don’t let anything inconsequential like facts stop you.

I suppose one option might be for the EU to review the back stop conditions, replace with a means of compliance that is technology based, change the withdrawal agreement to reflect this, the odds are that this would pass through Parliament, job done.
But no, the EU won't negotiate further, we won't accept a terrible deal, the only route now is to exert political pressure on the EU to try to get them to change their position, Nigel is intent on doing this, with an objective of reaching a "no deal" situation.
The EU are implying that this is the fault of the UK, I just don't think this is the case, so they do deserve what is coming to them.

And no doubt you will also support, you may not be alone on here you will be gratified to learn, this aspiring candidate..

Now Tommy "Gawd bless 'is paytreeortic soul "..or Stephen, has never been noted for an excess of cognitive development, under development, yes, but never an excess. So it's amusing to read his choice of location, Wythenshawe, to launch his aspirations....

For those unfamiliar with this garden city, true, that was the original intent, the Reservation as the locals affectionately describe it was probably not an inspired choice given they don't take kindly to interlopers .....and he was lucky the BBQ wasn't nicked as well.

However, also of note is the Manchester response to this piece of faecal matter which has shape shifted into the form of a human being....

Barnier is an elected MEP. Nobody elected him to be the Brexit Coordinator.

Unlike Theresa May, who......oh sh*t.

As for Grayling, looks like he’s struck again :-o
Ferry firm P&O is taking legal action against the UK government, claiming a rival was unlawfully handed £33m of taxpayers' money.
Last month, the Department for Transport (DfT) was forced to settle with train operator Eurotunnel, which had challenged the procurement of no-deal Brexit shipping contracts.
As part of the deal, Eurotunnel agreed to make improvements to its terminal.
P&O argues that this put its business at a "competitive disadvantage".
Eurotunnel's case came after the DfT awarded contracts worth more than £100m in total to three firms - Brittany Ferries, DFDS and Seaborne Freight.
The companies were to provide extra capacity across the Channel in the event that a no-deal Brexit led to congestion at UK ports.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The 'Let's leave the EU's waste and stupidity behind and do our own thing' argument doesn't hold much water when there are d!ckheads like Grayling running anything.

This has been my argument for quite a while, both major parties have shown themselves to be incompetent, both before and after the EU project.

Suppose we can always rely on Nigel :-o

The Greens, and I believe the conservatives also, in this Provincial election made a point of not only not asking for votes, but not even asking how people would vote. Party policies were only discussed when the voter raised the relevant issue. I was at the Greens door-knocking briefings, and also had the conservative guy at my door. Indeed both parties claimed to have put together their manifestos based on what people had told them they wanted, and just over 50% of the party policies are identical, and what people have told me they want in conversation. I shall certainly be happy if either party does what they say.
There now remains the $64,000,000 question of whether it actually happens....we shall see. Facta non verba.

The Daily Express canvassed over 22K of its readers, it must be remembered that this of course is not representative of the UK as a whole, merely a section of predominantly former Conservative mainly Leave voters, but even when this is taken into account, just look at the results.

I'm not voting, I left on March 29th. Mrs OFSO left when she received her new non-EU passport a week after me. We also frequent a café in Paris where the WC still needs a franc for the door.
