I looked, om, but couldn't directly see the claims about "plagues, famines, floods" which is what I asked about. Any pointers?

Meanwhile, the sound of a bullet whizzing past our ears but which failed to strike;

£55,000,000,000 is just over half the latest projected cost of the H2S ‘get away from Birmingham 20 minutes faster’ project...

As one comment points out, how would Wee Krankie’s lot feel about having to shell out for this fund, if by magic they’d reached their Valhalla of ”Independence” and simultaneous EUSSR membership? It just doesn’t bear thinking about.

Or an Undertaker.

Undertaker may be a more accurate description!

If what he says here is true, the the Tories are about to commit political suicide;

SERIOUSLY BAD NEWS. Awaiting Nigel to spring up again and start holding feet to the fire...

As a change from our fav undertaker/taxi-driver/whatever, here's an illustration of how we've taken our eyes off the ball and been sold a lemon by the "Get Brexit Done" brigade.

A quick recap on what has NOT happened;

More reading for perusal before the G&T is deployed;

Maybe licensed production of the “Blade” may well be needed in a manner similar to the WW2 licensed production of aero engines etc?

Are you certain 'Spiked' is a source worth reading?:

28th July: "As the clouds of the coronavirus crisis begin to break – if not exactly clear – "

Probably they are referring to whichever emphasis MSM are putting on the daily news output and not necessarily the real METAR of Covid-1984 v Brexit, Ginge & Nutmeg, Chump etc?

Firstly, I am pleased to note that Lester Taylor (Undertakers and Taxi services) have now found another box of !!!!s and do not have to fall back on the box of ????s.

The latest output is interesting (NB He reports that Farage is writing 'in the Express', which kind of dents his cred...)

It raises, for me, the question of what we Brexiteers will do if Bojo slides down the EU slope and offers a 'mixed' Brexit. The idea of 'No deal' or 'Remaining in as were' would appear to be the stark choice. No 'fudge' would surely be acceptable.

This would, I'm sure, be the end of the Conservative party's majority.

Pitchforks and tumbrills out of the shed, polished, sharpened and oiled, mes braves? Build the barricades?

Doubtless Nigel will, via social meeja and the BP’s channels, organise a demonstration near the home of our ‘democracy’ and I for one will feel obliged to make up the numbers.

I don’t have a pitchfork but I do have a very sharp billhook with which I brutally slaughter the hedge adjoining my property every year to rid me of post-winter-blues aggression.

Alas it might qualify as a “bladed article in public”, something into which the “Blade” manufacturer’s legal team are looking in the event the tumbrils have to start trundling noisily through the highways and byways of this green and peasant land!

Lest (!) we forget, he’s obviously been doing his homework again, unencumbered by a face nappy nor affected by lockdown blues.

Anyway, in brief, we’re being lied to yet again by the Brussels B’stds and it remains to be seen whether the BoJo & Frost team will blink first or just shut the door, leave the lights burning and feck off back home to concentrate on the future...

And 20 years to settle a deal, that’ll but the SNP plans to rejoin the EUSSR in a whole new timeframe!

Jeff Taylor’s latest video, no link posted as the visage apparently causes apoplexy amongst some viewers, is titled “EU's Michel Barnier tells member states to be 'cold-blooded' over Brexit!“

To which my reply is “Good, walk away now and stop wasting time, we’ll save loadsa money”.

But will we be allowed by our Beeb and BAME overlords to sing ‘Rule Britannia” at midnight 31/12/20?

According to various media sources, Bonking Boris has told David Frost he can 'walk away' from the EU Brexit discussions because of the issue of State Aid.

A bit of a bombshell for me, there, as I thought that Fisheries, Trade, Borders and the ECJ were bigger issues??

Who knows? Does it mean he will fold on all else if the 'State Aid' issue is sorted out to our advantage?

Perhaps it's the first of a set, if they sort state aid then the ECJ will be next, if they sort that, etc...

I've said it before - if someone is in the UK then they're subject to UK laws and courts. If they're in the EU then they're subject to EU laws and courts, so anyone who chooses to be in the UK can't go crying to the ECJ. To me that's a fundamental red line (one of several). As for level playing fields, how about the Yeovil Town FC ground of FA Cup legend?
