The Euro election on May 23 should be a hoot.

Farage can make mischief galore. I never would have voted for UKIP as there are so many nutters in that mob, but if he sets up a single issue party to campaign for Brexit I shall happily vote for him.

+1
Farage's lot could win 2/3 of the EU seats easily, maybe even all of them.

Here Farage, on a podcast, speaks rather intelligently.

The fightback is starting, in the news this evening,

The plan to “bring this country to its knees” and urged Brexiteers across the country to get involved.
A statement posted by the group on Twitter read: “Brexiteers all over the country are planning to bring this country to its knees by blocking the main arterial routes - M1, M6 M25, M62, A1, A55, M5, M4, M42, M55, M61, A66 etc.
“If you live close to one of these major motorways and are willing to take part then prepare to move at short notice.”
It added: “Don’t worry about the legal side of things, the national organiser is sorting that out.”
What "fightback " would this be then ?.....unfortunately, you omitted to include a link, this seems to be a common affliction on here, thus a quick search revealed a potential source....the Excess !. At this point, any relevance to factual content can be discounted.

However, the last time a stunt like this took place, it was, ostensibly, about wages but in fact, as subsequently emerged, an attempt to bring down the Labour Gov't but as Treeza has being doing this very effectively for the current Gov't, there's no need for a reprise. And I like the reassurance about not worrying about the legal side ......the police and m'learned friends presumably having no say in matters. This "fightback " doesn't, by any chance, involve the same egoistical non entity that was involved in the aforementioned fuel drivers charade ?

For those who stroll around the leafy boulevards of our glorious cesspit of a capital, and the epicentre of the known world, you may be amazed to learn other Cities are equally available for gridlock ! As for the arterial routes mentioned, if "Big Dazza " wants to cease slammin gears and chewin diesel for a while, all he / she has to do is involve Highways England whose expertise and incompetence in bringing these routes to a halt is truly "world class ".

Anyway, are any of you intending to participate in Nige's latest wheeze ?.....a 270 mile ambulation to London....apparently, if you pay £50 you get the accolade of being a "core marcher plus two meals a day and somewhere to doss for the night !....now there's a bargain chaps ! Obviously, Nige won't actually be waddling the whole distance ...but will condescend to meet what's left of Nige's Fusiliers on arrival at their destination. A true leader there chaps !.

Thank God there are still some friends of freedom willing to speak out on the UK's behalf:

He must be a fascist eh?

That was two years ago, it's even truer now than it was then.

Can someone give me a precis of the meaning,if any, of KnC's wittering above? Probably up-summable in about 10 words or less.

Perhaps he ought to change 'The Excess' to read "GetUp" or "Socialist Worker" and he might be on the money.

If you try entering the name of this "fightback " collective , a certain search engine beginning with G will bring up a local North Wales newspaper and the national rag known as the Excess. Have a think, long, short or medium depending on your preference, as to which outlet is likely to have a greater circulation and hence inform the readership, those that can, although being an Excess reader is a basis for those aspiring to eventually progress and read the Mail, of this otherwise underwhelming news.

Non Brexit, but Tory related....how many of you remember that enticing little slogan "the caring party " ?.....well, as was only to be expected, caring was an unfortunate error...here's the "caring party " showing their callous indifference ......as always.

It's always easy to snipe at the ruling party when your shower of excrement. lead by the devious lying Corbin, are in opposition.

Labour policies, communism, socialism, Marxism and its various evil offshoots have caused more death and suffering than capitalism, more even than nationalism in its various forms.

Not that capitalism exists at the moment, with Government regulations and licensing being used to restrict competition and allow cartels of large conglomerates. And even then they can't run it properly, viz Carillion and now Interserve, not to mention such abortions as MFTS.

Well it was raining.
I expect everyone will join in about five miles from the finish line, if Mrs May's deal does get squeezed through this week this walk for freedom will have been in vain, particularly if the walk is held up by protesting lorry drivers and arrives late.
What happens this week could be anyone's guess, but it looks like Mrs May is for the chop.

Here's a few more to add to the tally....

https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/u ... -austerity

Anyway, what Nige's great cavalcade really needs to add gravitas is......a marching band! True, 270 miles is a long way to keep playing "Onward Nige's Soldiers " or "Abide with me " or even "It's a long way to Tipperary ".....but, they can just plonk a CD on when they get tired.

I am partial to chops by the way. Did you envisage a re-enactment down the river by any chance ?...."water taxi for one please...Tower of London, one way ...soon as possible , thank you "

Oh come on!! That march is nowt to do with Brexit. It's a rescue mission for folks wanting to escape from Sunderland - Nige has told them it's safer in Syria!!
It's always my fault - SWMBO

Meanwhile, a UK Brexit negoatiator is captured in sombre mood, lost, but unconcerned. Once we end FOM however, no way will she get from Saddleworth to Sale !......and Metrolink will probably prosecute for trespass and fare dodging !

"The Long March " ( UK version ).....Day 2

Inspired leadership coming to the fore !...."true grit ! "....and the eventual glorious triumphal entry ( will they be getting one of those blow up arches like you see on the marathon then ? ) as what remains of Farage's Fusiliers enter the C(r)apital of the UK !

Alas, the Guardian attracts some unwarranted condemnation.....however, he's correct . No thinking person would have set of off in those conditions ...and thinking is a hallmark of being a Guardian reader after all !
