Just settling down to watch The Eurovision Song Contest :D
Glad you mentioned that, just been listening to Lancaster radio clips " don't they sound so mature " said Mrs PN. Now for Bletchley Circus.

In our house, we only ever watched Terry's p!ssed-up send up of the political voting, never the songs. In fact the voting used to provide a pretty good indicator of the state of European political relations.

Why is it being held in Tel Aviv with Australia as an entrant? Do not of these idiots possess an atlas, or is it a clear sign of the Eurocrats being ultimately bent on World Domination?

"I don't think that this incredible stupidity and unawareness is limited to Mrs May, the Tories feel that Boris is the answer to their prayers and that making him leader will solve everything"

It has always amazed me how stupid the Tories are when it comes to choosing their leaders, or maybe I should phrase that as how well they consistently choose the wrong person. I suspect the decision is made by the various local committees, who choose the person they see as being 'nice' and appealing to the electorate in their eyes, rather than picking someone who will pick the country up by the scruff of the neck and make a few decisions.

May avoided making decisions for three years, now I fear they will choose Boris, who is desperate to do better than his old Bullingdon chum. One of the few good things about the present situation is that the Labour Party chose someone equally unappealing!

While I am cheering from afar for Nigel to give the other parties a sound kicking in the Euro elections, I hope he has been thinking about how he can keep up the momentum and change the cosy two party system in Westminster, should a General Election come about as a result of May's pathetic 'negotiations' of the last three years and possible votes of no confidence. Helped by the worm known as Bercow probably.

He appears to be surrounded by people with scruples - I just hope he can keep them together to form a party to appeal to the voters.

I hear the Dutch won the rubbish token and that the Icelandic team displayed Palestinian flags during their performance.

Graham Norton, ascerbic as ever, apparently was the star of the show.

Brilliant. I'm still glad I didn't subject myself to.it. Had an email.from a friend with above summary.

And the UK, stone last!

To be fair, given the state of our relations with 'Europe', that seems apposite.

This thread is drifting...... But note that Spain, always ready to crawl up the rear portal of the EU, was kicked in the teeth down to 22nd. Oh my mistake, I though the ESC was about politics.....

I hope he knows more about politics than about drawing a bow.
Says it all really. Wrong position, poor grip, unable to sight correctly and no power in his hands.
Vote Brexit, at least Farage knows how to hold a pint.

More importantly, it's clear he ignores all instructions or advice from weapons professionals.

Long may he remain with no power in his hands

For those on here whose opinion as to the apparent lack of MSM reporting suggests their vocal chords have been transplanted externally to their second / third and fourth vertebrae , with an extension to the lower colon, here's a link for your consideration mentioning as it does....Nige.

Repeating the same actions and expecting a different result is a standard definition of insanity.
