Since you've mentioned this, I think it is time that KnC's ongoing unpleasant, snide, denigratory remarks to everybody who disagrees with him were reined in. Since his joining, this thread in particular has become a far less pleasant place and many of his postings are irrelevant, or barely relevant, to Brexit and appear to be constructed purely (and puerilely!) to upset others.

Robust debate is fine, continuous vicious digs and aspersions about other people's intelligence, ability, employment options, and so on are not.
Thank you for the fulsome praise, ...however, can we assume that (a) you have no sense of humour......(b) as on TOP you were never entirely in favour of me questioning some of your more dubious claims and fantasies and (c) you have a preference for one dimensional dialogue.

Obviously, your own views concerning the French are possibly literal holograms, or maybe posts from a parallel Universe....many on here and on TOP seem have access to a portal leading to such as they inhabit this fabled environment .....anyway, without further ado, here's Brexit and, the French, and...spreading his mantle further than our shores ...who else but ?.......the epitome of Ministerial failing......Chris !

You have to admire the French here though, no "Bienvenue " flags in sight......."Vive la France !! "...

As the unlamented deceased ha been mentioned, and om15 supplied a photograph which may render this site liable to prosecution under the Obscene Publications Act, not to be outdone, this also applies to the Guardian.....

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... n-grantham

However, the questions that remain unanswered here...can Cranwell cope with the annual influx of pilgrims intent on prostrating themselves in supplication or will Spitalgate ( International ) emerge as an alternative . In my less than humble opinion, and I do understand this suggestion may not be entirely favourably received, the best place for the statue would be underground along with any and all forms of nuclear waste.....the word...toxic.... being relevant here.

Should any of the disciples on here be thinking of visiting Grantham however, I recommend the greasy spoon next to the Honda dealership....

As an aside to Cape's comments, it does appear to be that personal comments made on this forum tend to emanate from those of a socialist persuasion, perhaps they need cheering up, here is something to lift their spirits,

Out of politeness I have watched this video clip, I found it most distasteful and am unable to see any relevance at all to the conversations on this thread.

Not in anybody's book ....assuming they have a sense of humour that is. Brilliant and in the same league as "National Lampoon's Animal House "...

At least we will never have to worry about where to put any statues of Corbyn. :))

Donald Tusk has condemned Brexiteers to 'a special place in Hell.'

That's odd, I thought that was precisely what we had voted to leave.

Who voted for a deal?

Nobody.

We voted to leave, sure they had two years to tie up the loose ends, but that should never get in the way of actually leaving.

Now, after the two years are up, the EU has proven difficult to deal with. Not really a surprise, and one of the reasons we voted to LEAVE.

So we leave.

Required agreements will be reached quickly, AFTER we LEAVE.

That I would have discounted, what made me laugh was this bit:
Brussels officials were quick to clarify Mr Tusk's remarks, stressing to BBC correspondent Adam Fleming that the Brexiteers' special place in hell would be for when they are dead and "not right now"

Actually I agree. I wish the incompetent politicians, who have made a complete mess of implementing Brexit, a nice warm spot in Hell, and as soon as possible. And of course also the politicians in opposition who stood back and did nothing to keep a check on them.

Allow me to offer the definitive depiction of your statement above.....

Is that "special place" Mr Tusk's final territorial demand?

There may be a special place in hell for us, but it will be a level above Tusk and his acolytes, where we will be sh!tt!ng thin sh!t on those who would treat 17.5 million people with such utter contempt. Demonstrations of such disgraceful arrogance should convince many more remainers to change their minds should a second "People's Vote" ever come to pass.

K&C - I am finding Bell's cartoons 'eye-catching' but increasingly inscrutable. I assume you understand this one. Can you offer a debrief on his ''message'? I assume BoJo is 'bottom' left - if so, what is he meant to be doing? What is the significance of the Thatcher statue in all this? Who is TM 'digesting'? What is the significance of the ?mine? on her head and who is it in the 'balloon' with a ?condom? on his head?

I'm sure it is all very clever but beyond me.

You're opening yourself up to one of KnC's rambling and prolix diatribes of drivel, in which he will take aim at your low level of intelligence, lack of comprehension .......

The Guardian cartoon probably only makes sense to someone of his bent. I haven't even bothered to look at it.
