Here's my pitch:

"So who will be the POTUS in one year's time" - probably not who will be Potus tomorrow?

Good luck USA - you will need it.

Can't believe how well Trump is doing compared to what the polls said.

That'll teach the "intellectual left" to sneer at the 'little people'. I suspect that the Trump presidency won't be as rocky as many of the leftie pundits would have us believe; and it may be a whole lot safer than if that woman had got it.

Man I'm almost coming in my pants waiting for the NYSE opening bell. Let the panic sell off begin and then start swooping in for the cheaper stocks!

On the political side I'm quite satisfied indeed those left wing bastards got a right royal well deserved kick in the arse, with the Repub majority in both the Senate AND House. The good ol' Yanks have taken the lead to finally stick socialism and all its loathsome sh!t well and truly in the trash bin of history.

I really am not surprised at the result! But I do confess to being somewhat bewildered at those who oh-so-confidently picked a Clinton win and now wander around in a dazed manner.

Because in interviews I have seen with these people, none of them have admitted, or will admit what appears to me to have been the main reason for their defeat; That the average American is sick and bloody tired of being treated like a mushroom and has had a gutful of the 'political elite' who for far too long a period of time has arrogantly assumed that 'they' know what is good for everyone! X(

I await the predictions of doom/gloom/disaster from all the lefties around the globe.

President elect Trump now has to deliver on his promises. I will go out on a limb here; I predict a few failures/broken promises etc. But I have a funny feeling that, in the end, he will turn out to be one of the great US Presidents!

Only time will tell.

Oh yes; A further prediction; In the not-too-distant future, an official announcement will be made that Hillary Clinton is suffering from some illness, terminal or otherwise, that in the long run would have rendered her incapable of carrying out the duties of President.

And in that, I do sincerely hope that I'm wrong!!

I heard one of the talking heads this morming here in the UK saying it was Clinton losing rather than Trump winning which I feel sums it up.

It will be 'interesting' to see what happens to taxes in the US, with a huge wall to fund (maybe he'll fund it and turn it into a visitor attraction/theme park) and someone has calculated that his apparent 'promise' to remove 11 million illegals would mean 150 jumbos a day for his term. Again, maybe his 757 will just do lots of rotations 'for free'.

May we live in interesting times?

You could fund the wall because you would save billions in not having to employ a huge number of people,
machines / vehicles, helicopters, horses and high technology to try to catch illegals.

It's a huge operation.

Either result would have been a disaster, Trump is by far the lesser disaster.
We woke up this morning to no internet, some indigenous had stolen the batteries and cables for the microwave tower that delivers internet into the valley, but the news filtered through of a Trump win.
I don't see it making much difference really.

I haven't seen it fully yet but I have read that in his entire acceptance speech Trump didn't use the word "I" once... Apparently there were a lot of "we"s, "us"s and other terms that do not reflect the first person. What a difference from Obama who, just the other day while stumping for the witch, referred to himself over 200 times...

Happy days... Now I'm waiting for the inner cities to awaken to find Trump won though I do hear that the black vote either stayed home or voted Trump so maybe it'll be all quiet...

I thought Mexico was going to be "made to pay" for the brickwork.

Possibly why the value of the Mexican Peso has plummeted this morning.

I think that I might agree with Pinky here, there is a possibility that now the showmanship is over, Mr Trump may well turn up trumps, the liberal leftie lot have had their day both sides of the pond hopefully, and we might have people in charge that actually will do the right thing, lets hope so anyway.

There is a school of thought that thinks Trump will have Mexico pay for the wall by imposing a transfer tax on money going from the USA to Mexico. You see, there's a lot of legal and illegal Mexicans that work in the US yet send a significant amount of their income home to Mexico. This totals many hundreds of millions of dollars or more annually. Place a tax on it and use the levied cash to pay for the wall.

Then, if we ship all the illegals in our prisons back to their places of origin then the cost of prisons falls significantly because, IIRC, 20% of people in the prisons are illegal aliens...

There's a lot of money in those two proposals...

No doubt Trump has interest in a building company that specialises in building long high walls along arid river valleys!
Is it really only 20% of your prisoners that are illegal aliens? That seems remarkably low. I'm sure it's a lot higher than that in the UK and ZA.

Obola referred to himself 323 times in the speech you're referring to. The Narcissist In Chief is about to be shown the door.
