Who are the Deplorables?

#1 Post by BenThere » Fri Sep 16, 2016 1:47 pm

I think I'm one.

I'm male. I'm white. I don't ridicule religious people. I belong to the only ethnic group not allowed to speak up for itself. I oppose FGM, honor killing, homosexuality as a capital crime - vocally. I have worked all my life and never taken any sort of government welfare. I have always paid taxes, a lot of taxes.

I don't belong in this society, do I?

Trump 2016!

Do you lie at every opportunity? Do you sponge off the taxpayers and believe that the world owes you a living? Do you welcome with open arms the detritus of the world that wish to change, violently, the society that gives them succour? If you do then you do not belong in the basket of deplorables.

I'm deplorable. I can't stand poofters, radical islamics, greenies, fcuking socialists and leftists, lazy useless cnuts who think the world owes 'em a living, global warmists, b!tches who use their pussies as a gold mine to extract welfare benefits, sh!theads who classify a lone islamic terrorist as "mentally challenged", and half-arsed morons who tell me I have to spend spend spend to save the economy.

I volunteer because I think it's a badge of honour to be insulted by that witch Hillary.

Rough math indicates about 75 million Americans are deplorable to Hills.

That's 75 million who will vote for Trump.
Perhaps sufficient to ensure that he will be the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylania Avenue when the current rabble move out.

Contemptible has a ring to it but it has been used before - with rather unexpected results.

For once, the US is following Australia (it's usually the other what around). When the oxygen thief who is currently our Prime Minister stole the Prime Ministership from the man we had elected to that job in a palace coup, those who objected were labelled 'DelCons', (= 'Delusional Conservatives'). Everyone thus labelled immediately proudly adopted the title, which was not what the media 'talking head' who came up with it was expecting.

Time (12 months almost to the day) has proven that the ones who were delusional were those who backed the oxygen thief in his coup, who, apart from looking inordinately pleased with himself now that he's stolen the top job, has done damn near nothing positive.

Je suis deplorable! Now that this rallying call has gone viral, the Left is on it's back foot, wondering how they lost the angst and angel they once controlled. The left is used to ridiculing, but it is quite unexperienced at being ridiculed. Conservatives are experts at it.

Let me go out on a limb and be the first to do it. I think Donald Trump will win handily. Hillary has no plan, no personna, no personality - I could go on. Who really likes her, other than women who like her because she's a woman? Nobody. That's who.

On the other hand, Trump says he will fix things everyone with a pulse can see need fixing. I'm an old-timer now (retired), and the likes of Chuks will soon be calling me feeble-minded. But I can still separate wheat from chaff, and Hillary, to me, is clearly chaff. She has produced nothing, achieved nothing, and has no right to claim the presidency just because she's a woman. That is so wrong. If women want a president of the United States to be a woman, they need to come up with a better woman.

People like this:

Kind of sad that you would want to associate with people like these BenThere!

I think that Killary said "half". That would be many, many millions if the polls are to be believed. Rather more than the 13 carefully selected and blown out of proportion examples quoted.

The education system has a rather apposite phrase, MA - "Must try harder"

You surely must Siseman.

One could move through at quite a clip winnowing out Trump's nastiest supporters in their dirty dozens.

You'll recognize them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

I looked at the link, MA, and to my surprise found several of my heroes included on the list of evil. So sorry you're sad, my friend, but I do want to associate with people like them.

That an obviously left-wing website I had never heard of has a problem with prominent conservatives is no surprise. That such a website would publish hateful invective with little substance or logical support of their assertion is no surprise, either.

Living in a strange area I am considered perfectly normal by some acquaintances and racist by others.
The reason?
I object strongly to the ever lengthening list of PC names and expressions we are supposed to use so that we do not "offend" anyone. I am fed up with our language being mangled by the touchy/feely crowd.
A black person is a black person because of the colour of their skin OK? This does not make them inferior, it does not make them less intelligent, it does not warrant any form of discrimination. So that is the word I use since it is precise and descriptive.
But I upset people because I do not use the latest approved word on the long list of once approved words that are not approved anymore and that must not be used. Total BS.

PS I note that certain models in a fashion show were criticised recently because they carried out "cultural appropriation". What they did was to have their hair fashioned in so called "dreadlocks" which apparently is a hair style culturally restricted to black persons. Does that mean black women can't have straight hair?
