"in his great and unmatched wisdom" the Chump has realised that fighting Jeff Bezos and Amazon is a waste of time and now joined them, using 'Twitch'.

What is the latest on the power situation out west, anyone?

It is quite absurd

On Thursday, Trump acknowledged there was a photo with the now-arrested men. But he said he didn't know them and had nothing to do with their alleged crimes.

"I don't know those gentlemen. Now it's possible I have a picture with them because I have a picture with everybody, I have a picture with everybody here," Trump said, adding that someone told him there "may be" a photo with them "at a fundraiser or somewhere (Whoops!), but I have pictures with everybody."
He continued, "I don't know them. I don't know about them. I don't know what they do but I don't know, maybe they were clients of Rudy. You'd have to ask Rudy, I just don't know."
Pressed whether he is concerned Giuliani himself could be indicted, Trump said, "Well I hope not, again, I don't know how he knows these people."

Yes - trust me - I'm a genius.

""We defeated 100% of the ISIS Caliphate (untrue) and no longer have any troops in the area under attack by Turkey, in Syria," he tweeted.

"We did our job perfectly! Now Turkey is attacking the Kurds, who have been fighting each other for 200 years. (Big surprise, eh wise intelligent Donnie?)

"We have one of three choices: Send in thousands of troops and win Militarily, hit Turkey very hard Financially and with Sanctions, or mediate a deal between Turkey and the Kurds!"

He is a fool.

Our power went out about 23:15 Wednesday night. It came back on mid-afternoon Thursday while I was running the generator to cool the fridge.

Other areas are not so lucky and still have no power.

At one time the Turks were pretty active in Syria (and other parts of the ME) so the great power of the time removed them and after some politicing rearranged the map of the ME, including eventually creating a whole new nation in the area.

Worked out well didn't it. Perhaps we should do it again. :-?

A point I made in the discussion on disasters. The average society, never mind the average person, simply cannot grasp the implications of a long term electrical supply problem.
Thirty five years ago I was employed by DEC as an applications engineer. One of my clients was Brown Boveri. They were a major player in electrical distribution systems. They were in the process of switching from Allen-Bradley PLC's used in their SCADA systems to a Chinese manufactured "copy" at a fraction of the price. Even back then there was a concern that the Chinese could easily take control remotely and disable the whole network should they choose.

It gets more unreal by the moment:

“I campaigned on the fact that I was going to bring our soldiers home, and bring them home as rapidly as possible.” so I am looking at sending (from Reuters)

"The planned deployment, which was first reported by Reuters, will include fighter squadrons, one air expeditionary wing and air defense personnel, the Pentagon said."

Yeah - bring 'em home, Chump' The US should not be fighting other peoples' wars, should it? After all, did the Saudis help the US at Normandy?

Then the Chump reckons he can cleverly (and bravey) sort out this China trade deal thingy - which he mostly brought on himself!

Will the GOP finally cotton on?

We never had more than a light breeze, which I think has pissed off a lot of people, although there are mountain passes and other terrain where it may well have hit 70mph gusts, I assume that some areas had high winds although I think that's passed now, and those that are still without power are waiting for PG&E staff to go check that nothing broke or fell over and it's safe to turn the power back on.

3000 'troops' on their way to help the US ally of the Normandy landing:

“The United States has spent eight trillion dollars fighting and policing in the Middle East.

“Thousands of our great soldiers have died her been badly wounded.

“Millions of people have died on the other side.

“Going into the middle east is the worst decision ever made.”

Two days later, on October 11, the Pentagon announced a significant boost to the US presence in Saudi Arabia.

Additional forces will include two fighter squadrons and two patriot missile batteries designed to shoot down incoming missiles.

Before becoming President Trump hit out at the amount of military support the US provides Saudi Arabia.

On August 31 2014 he tweeted: “Saudi Arabia should fight their own wars, which they won’t, or pay us an absolute fortune to protect them.”

Well, he certainly is a consistent fool. Make America ga-ga again. He will go to any lengths, including putting US forces at risk, to deflect from the impeachment issues

You did - they were there with the Kurds - ask the Chump. Did you not see the video clip where he tells it?

They were there, in Chump's mind.

Just like the Septics were there on the beaches of Dunkirk.

I trust the Chump has a bible in one of his hotel room drawers, even if it is a Gideons one - Galatians 6:7

CHUMPERS! Is he right or is he wrong?

"Retired four-star Marine general John Allen told CNN on Sunday that the U.S. 'greenlighted' current situation in Syria.
He argued there was blood on President Trump's hands after he ordered all U.S. troops to withdraw from the northern border area"

PS I do not expect anyone to answer. :))
