The RAF should never have re-formed 617 Sqdn and sent them to the USA for training on the F35.

I suppose the worry is that the idiot millions of the US will copy him. But why worry about the behaviour of idiots?
Your assessment of Americans is wrong, and noted.

Out of 325 Million people.....as compared to the UK, Spain, Italy......how does that compare on a per capita rate?

It only took Trump ten days to issue a Travel Ban....how long did it take the Chinese and do identify the difference between the Chinese ban on Domestic travel compared to International Travel.

The Loons immediately accused Trump of being Racist, a Dictator, and all sorts of things for taking that action.....now magically they criticize him for easing restrictions.

Which way do you want it....pick one....but just one.....you cannot have it both ways.

You do grasp it is the State Governors that are issuing the Stay at Home Orders....not the President....as it is a State function not a Federal Function under our system of government.

But do carry on with your rant based on pure opinion and conjecture rather than facts.

The one thing about freedom of speech....is speech is free....even when it is stupid, wrong, bogus, or rude.

The rest of the story is folks are not obliged to agree with it and when you publish something it is subject to rebuttal.

Sas,there is nothing that Trump does that will ever reported by the media as something positive. As always they play the game both ways.

The media doesn't do 'positive' - they rely on 'shock, horror' to attract - 'click-bait'.

I see Trump now considers having the highest number of cases is a "badge of honour" because it proves that the US is doing more testing than anywhere else and is better at it. Wasn't he complaining not that long ago about how pointless tests were because someone could test negative one day and then positive the next? Or that the problem with testing is that you'd find cases and your numbers would be worse. I wonder if someone drew a good-enough diagram for him to follow.

Not when Obama was in office. There was no wrong that he could do and the media spent their days swooning about anything and everything he did.

Thanks, Seenenough.
Ben,I hope the flooding has not caused you any problems.
A couple of dams breached this week causing some extensive flooding and evacuations in the center of the State. I'm not affected though there is some sporadic flooding not far from me from the Spring thaw and heavy rains. Michigan is going through some tough times now, mostly due to the virus and high unemployment, but we'll get through it. We've been through tough times before.

Our governor is making it harder with non-sensical decrees, drawing a growing pushback from the people, but we can elect a new one in a few years, and she's doing a lot to help President Trump carry Michigan again.

You do grasp it is the State Governors that are issuing the Stay at Home Orders....not the President....as it is a State function not a Federal Function under our system of government.
U.S. President Donald Trump declared he has “total” authority to order states to relax social distancing to combat the coronavirus outbreak and reopen their economies, and warned that governors who refuse would face political consequences.

“When someone is president of the United States, the authority is total,” Trump said at a White House news conference Monday. Challenged to substantiate his claim, he said “numerous provisions” support him and offered r

Provide the full context of the statement you posted....so everyone understands exactly what was being discussed.

The Media is long on innuendo and short of completeness.

Trump mangles the language enough that sometimes even he does not know what he is saying or what reference he is using.

Even though the Constitution and in a lot of cases the Congress as well grants the President Plenary Power over an issue, situation, or decision.....he is often challenged by the media, the opposition, and even Federal Judges.

So welcome to that Club.

Wouldn't busting a dam be a War Crime nowadays?

Is that why the Murricanes made a badge about it?

You can bet your ass they did not use the old Code Word for success either....as that would be very much a Crime these days....one with a far more harsh penalty than a mere War Crime!
