And yet the Democrat party has whittled their very diverse choice down to two very elderly gents (never mind the smart minority woman still in the race, they don't count her!) both with very apparent health problems.

Biden seemingly with early onset Alzheimer's and Sanders has already had a heart attack this campaign.

It took some doing by the DNC to have Trump as the youngest, healthiest contestant in the ring.

Well done.

As a South African, liberal, pilot, I find this mildly amusing...

Curiosity got the better of me and I actually watched this Beeb snippet this morning;

Trump on coronavirus: 'People are really surprised I understand this stuff' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-51761880

I rapidly became convinced I’d stumbled across a trailer for the imminent “Spitting Image” series but was fairly soon disillusioned when I realised it was a genuine ‘fake noos’ clip from the Land of cupcakes, democracy, freedom and mom’s apple pie.

At least he had lot’s of minders ready to prevent him falling into a Petrie dish.......

People need to calm down a bit about the Stock exchange movement. Take the Dow - the Chump has done nothing to change the performance of the Dow since taking office. Look at

Dow.jpg

Since 1980'ish, the market has been on a slowly steepening curve, barring the odd drop like 2008, and it will probably continue the trend eventually when this virus thing has faded, albeit, as before, from a lower level. All this 'trying to read the market' guff is just that. Investment in Stocks and shares is best viewed as long-term investment and all the 'clever' folk trying to 'short-term' it sometimes get their fingers burnt.

If one of them picked a woman as running mate then it might improve their chances a bit. At that point being old and in dubious health might be seen as an advantage if people vote in the hope of the VP becoming #47.

In a statement on 26 February, the president said: “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”
"I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it. Every one of these doctors said, 'How do you know so much about this?' Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for President."
1000 and 31 dead and rising. He certainly does like this stuff.

DNC and establishment trying hard to get Bernie to drop out and not debate Biden or force him, Biden, to do anything else on a public stage where Joe is sure to demonstrate that he's lost it mentally. Sad, really.

What will the reaction be the next time Joe threatens a voter with "You wanna go outside?" and the voter accepts?
What's his plan? A Russian doesn't take a dump without a plan.

Trump probably thinks it is crony virus. I guess he knows a lot about that!

I think Trump may have been right in one thing. If he can hang on without too many bumps on the way to spring, and tornadoes aside, I suspect the virus, like math and weather say, will partially subside and then he may very well abide..!

Yet another Chump oral podiatry moment:

"He said “these prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval”.

Oh dear1

Such words could trigger global economic panic. Trump was forced to hastily clarify on Twitter: “... very important for all countries & businesses to know that trade will in no way be affected by the 30-day restriction on travel from Europe. The restriction stops people not goods.”

Right - that's nice and clear. Thank heavens for Twitter. Consistent buffoon rating, Mr Precedent.
