Trump hasn't had to deal with determined opposition either
You're kidding, right? Right?
Not kidding. During the campaign they treated him as a joke so he never had to do much. In fact he did his best to show that he was completely unsuited for the top job, so we can't really blame him for being there.

Once in office, the main thing that got in his way was not a determined opposition from Congress, but a lot of incompetent buffoonery from the top GOP people who failed to get various things passed or abolished despite having a majority in both houses.

It's obvious even to blind Freddy that the Dems do not give a rats arse about the well being of Americans because of their blind over the top hatred of Trump. With their melted down tactics such as Cohen, Brett K et al, the Mueler report is the only remaining way that the Dems can try to remove Trump and Pence together. They have had 2 full years to plan it.

If they succeed the Speaker then becomes President. Voila! - the far-reaching globalist socialists win.

PS: Boac - note the report is from the Next News Network, who are commenting on the Fox report displayed.

far-reaching globalist socialists
Care to describe what you define as a globalist?, I tend to think of the term in relation to the Global Elite and big business who are invariably right wing, so very interested in your opposing definition.
I hereby declare the U.S.A. a Pariah state.

I refuse to ever answer your posts..."Bob"...as you are a troll pure and simple. But in this case I suggest for example you have a look at who runs CNN at the very top and the political affiliations he has. With further online surfing, if you should bother to do so, the premisee will become clearer.

You can also look at "champagne socialism".

Good to see the Chump has learnt the art of compromise, but I see VP Coulter doesn't agree with it. I feel another 'cabinet' meeting at Faux News is called for.

Why is it, with all his pseudo-macho 'pussy grabbing' BS he has such difficulties with women - Coulter, Warren, Pelosi, Daniels, Clinton etc etc? Is he frightened of them?

Boac, the 'pussy-grabbing' clip was an outtake of an interview more than a decade ago, back when Donald Trump was a private citizen. Compare that to then-President Obama's caught on tape assurance to Russia that he could help them out a lot more after the 2012 election was won, which it was and he did, witness the Iran deal, suppression of US energy production, blocking pipeline and Canadian energy supply, et al.

How many female employees of President Trump's enterprises have come forward to credibly claim they were maltreated in the past? Incredibly few, given the enormous incentives held out for those who would. In fact, Trump enterprises have a long history of fostering and promoting women to elevated positions within his business organizations. That doesn't fit in your narrative I know, but apolitical reality has never been your strong suit. I would recommend you broaden the sources of your information, but that's up to you.

Well, Ben, I thought the 'sources of 'your' information' were fact. Do you have 'alternative news' sources for us that say he has NOT had 'difficulties' with Coulter, Warren, Pelosi, Daniels, Clinton? Happy to look at them, but that's up to you.

By the way, I did not mention anything about 'maltreatment' - was that a Freudian slip on your part? I specifically said 'difficulties'.

That's just semantics, Boac, and betrays your weakness.

Difficulties are a norm in the everyday interactions of all of us. Disagreement and difficulties are part of life. Maltreatment is another matter. I sometimes have difficulties with my beloved, but maltreatment has never been an issue.

The tone of your post, invoking 'pussy grabbing' (dog whistle), followed by the reference to 'difficulties', followed by 'is he frightened', makes it quite clear that my response had no Freudian connotation. I felt you were trolling and I tried to call you on it. That's all.

MAGA louts

#4153 Post by Undried Plum » Sun Jan 20, 2019 6:54 pm

His supporters seem, in the main, to be really horrible people.

If those MAGA louts seen recently abusing the Omaha Native American (who was a veteran of The American War in SouthEast Asia) near the Lincoln Memorial are representative of the country's future yoof, then it's a good thing that American imperialism is a broken reed and that the country is buggered.

Slash, the best definition of a champagne socialist I've heard so far was used to describe the current Canadian PM.
"He's a champagne socialist who was born with a sterling silver rectal thermometer up his ass."

By the way, Pelosi isn't going to let something as simple as the lack of an official aircraft impede her travel plans. :D

- so why raise it? It means your second paragraph was, therefore, an irrelevancy - there's a lot of it about.

I take it you have no 'alternative news' sources, or are you in fact agreeing he has 'difficulties' with the gentler sex?

As I understand it, he's not offered them anything new. Much of what he's "offering" is already subject to court injunction. However, it's notable that he's backed down from his original demand to a few steel barriers in important places.

Having said that, if I was in their position I'd be making a calculation at this point that he's not going to get re-elected in 2020 (they have to believe that) and so whoever gets the job can cancel the wall, giving him what he wants means he can't use it as a campaign booster for the 2020 campaign, and he can then spend the next year fighting legal battles with private landowners who will be affected by building the wall. As such, there's a good chance that even if they said yes, it would never get built anyway.

Hey look - the Chump is less Chumpier!
k2fxizm4jpy9bzctcsrw.jpg

Look! Longer fingers, thinner shoulders, different herpes - sorry, hairpiece and de-oranged too. (That perhaps should have been deranged?)

All terribly sad. Coming on top of the news (from our favourite UK national paper) that

"...according to the Fact Checker database, Trump has made 7,645 “false or misleading claims” since taking office. The most repeated lie – 187 times and counting – is that the Russia investigation is a “witch hunt”, followed by Trump’s assertion, made 125 times, that his government passed “the biggest tax cuts in the history of our country”.

The president has also made 124 false claims about the US “losing” money to Mexico under the North America Free Trade Agreement (Nafta), and has claimed that the economy is the “greatest ever” 110 times."

and this is not including

"Trump’s claim that he had ordered “over 1,000” burgers for the Clemson football team, a claim which came just hours after the president said he had order 300 burgers."

Certainly making America great again, even if it makes Trump smaller, despite the 700 extra hamberders......
