As pointed out the limitations of the Healthcare Service in the US is the limited number of Doctors and Nurses available to provide treatment.Doctors and Nurses cannot be qualified on any fast track program.

There is a drive to encourage school leavers to go on to study in the medical field so as in increase the numbers numbers of Doctors an Nurses needed by the US population.

The costs of studying Medicine is high.The estimated cost of eight years of study is in the order of about $400 000.My son who finnishes school this spring has signed up for Premed this comming fall along with several of his friends.
