Strangely enough my next door neighbour (I live in a diabolically Pagan and wonderfull part of Wales) is obviously an ex Brummie , bit of a risky endeavor though, he is about 6'4" with tatoos on the inside of his eyelids.

The Spanish Podemos party has just posed a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister, Rajoy, on two counts of (a) corruption within the PP, his party, and (b) mishandling the Catalan request for a referendum on separation. The motion is currently in a two-day debate in the Spanish parliament.
At the same time the European court (do not know which one) has just censured the PP for their treatment of the Basque President. (Not sure of the facts on this one as I caught the tail-end of the news and the item hasn't been repeated).
Whatever the consequences Rajoy is appearing in court next month as a witness for three corruption cases involving his party.

The vote of no confidence in the Spanish PM was defeated - but so many anti-PM members abstained from voting that if they hadn't been gutless chickensh*t weak snivelling wimps and actually voted, we would have been heading for new elections today.

I don't understand how Spain works tbh, I've only known the Tourism side of the Story, but a lot of them seem to treat their dogs like *****...puts them in my bad books im afraid

True but they treat their cats well - because cats were working beasts, keeping the rats and mice down. Every barn and most old house doors have a cat access hole cut in them.
