North Korea has issued a standing order for the execution of ousted South Korean president Park Geun-hye and her spy chief for a plot to assassinate leader Kim Jong-un.

South Korea says the order "has no grounds" and issues no immediate comment
The North's official KCNA said "revelations showed" Park had masterminded a plot to execute Pyongyang's "supreme leadership" in 2015 and that it was imposing the "death penalty on traitor Park Geun-hye".
