Caco,

She was killed by a co-patriot of hers in a situation that turn ugly. It is irrelevant for the discussion - we are not discussing political violence here we are talking about violence caused in the name of /perpetrated by a specific religion.

JetSkis and RIBs direct from Morocco to some Spanish beach. Says a lot about defense capabilities.

The capability is here - and is paid dearly in term of taxes. The question is how it is used and unfortunately the Southern Europe navies end up running a taxi service to pick up illegal immigrants. FWIW what should be done and it is quite popular here it is rather unacceptable to the citizens of Europe - with no prospects of changing.

New Zealand's quite a long way from the action, ( so far ? Never say never ? ) and has sandy beaches too. If there is another car parked at the one you choose, drive on,won't take you long to find a deserted one.

Not correct.
In fact for some weeks now a chartered Aerorescue Dornier 328 search aircraft has been operating out of Malaga flying low level search patterns, mid Mediteranian Sea, between Spain and Morrocco from just east of Gibraltar up to Almeria.

Are they doing anything to repel or sink the invaders?

Now governments are looking at ways to ensure that more stringent checks are done on people renting vans. That's going to help a lot, isn't it? Just another series of hoops and hurdles for the innocent and honest to jump through, while the terrorists will steal, borrow, hijack, or otherwise nefariously obtain whatever they need to commit murders.

Crooks and criminals can open bank accounts without too much difficulty, but let you or me try and it's a different game entirely.

You can also bet your last cent that they won't racially profile, so that if a white John Smith, aged 70, born and raised in Hampshire and lived his entire life in the UK without a blemish on his character or record tried to rent a vehicle, he would be put through the same 'security' hurdles as Ali Mohammed Kamel Fakir, aged 23, who arrived last year from Afghanistan via Morocco and has lived on the dole since then. The difference is that Smith would probably fail because he had a parking ticket in 1985, but Kamel Fakir would pass as they'd be afraid of being called 'racist' or 'anti-Islamic' if they didn't give him the vehicle.

An acquaintance, who happens to be a rabid follower of the Scottish Numpty Plonkers, has been claiming on FB that it's linked to Catalan demands for independence. Cape, your post #8 isn't too far off the mark.

Caco, got any pics of the girls murdered in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore or down along the Mexican border this week? Or do only white female victims interest you?

Also, do you have any info/pics about European rape victims at the hands of 'refugees'?

Re the explosion in Calafells last Wednesday - they are now saying there were parts of two bodies amongst the rubble.

Amazingly today they are saying there may have been THREE bodies in the rubble.

However today - Monday - saying not known how many bodies are in the debris. Which, I feel, comes from the Department of the Glaringly Obvious !

Sounds a bit like :
"A private 4 seat aircraft crashed on a cemetery. Over 100 bodies have so far been found and the search continues ........"

The Mossas d'Esquadra - Catalan police force - have adopted the philosophy that when faced with an armed terrorist - knife, gun, explosive vest - he/she has to be stopped dead (literally) rather than being 'caught' for questioning. Excellent.

I stopped in Figueras for a coffee this morning after my haircut, but didn't not sit in the square. Too many Maroccans around with sharp knives. The two police on duty didn't look particularly alert.

I think they should be interrogated whilst still alive, and then 'liquidated'.

Shoot them in the knee caps, interrogate them, then let them bleed to death.

Unless you can shoot there arms off, then they can still activate the vest.

Head shot every time UNTIL THEY STOP MOVING

I think certain criteria have to be applied.

Shouting Islamist slogans
Stabbing/shooting people
Wearing explosive vest
Running away from a vehicle that's just been used to mow people down

And basically: not obeying orders shouted by a policemen

I have been stopped several times by a young (and nervous) recruit carrying a semi-automatic weapon and asked to produce ID papers, carried in my inside jacket pocket. The fact I didn't get shot shows how carefully I responded. (in Germany & Italy).
