My goodness. Extinction Rebelluon and Heathrow Pause. You Poms have a really high proportion of Climate psychos to put up with in England.

This time if the idiots glue/nail/tape themselves to terminals or fences etc, leave them there to piss and sh!t in their pants and with a bit of luck starve to death.

I would like to help keep the drones out of the sky if the CAA can provide a nice 88mm. Having drones buzzing just above the heads of these silly morons would be a bonus.

I'd bring in the Clay Pigeon Clubs, and supply them with free ammunition!

That's a great idea, Ian16th! But shotguns won't do the job. We need high-powered rifles, maybe even small-scale missiles to enable the populace to counter the drone threat. The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution applies.

You're assuming enough of them can actually hit a drone with a rifle. That's the beauty of a shotgun, provided the drone is within range, less accuracy required.

John Englander, who despite his name is highly knowledgeable on the subject of global sea level rise and its causes and consequences, gave a good talk at The Royal Institution.

Since it's not some left-leaning ***** produced by the BBC I'll look at that when I have time Plum. His credentials aren't bad either.

Willie Soon isn't a climatologist or a meteorologist or an oceanographer or a hydrographer. He's just a mouthpiece for his sponsors in Big Oil and Big Coal.

He hasn't had any conventional university funding since 2001 and has been on the payroll of Big Fossil since at least 1994.

His counterfactual gobshite is such claptrap and is so easily rebutted that it's not worth bothering with.

BBC news tonight had some idiot climate professor citing increased forest fires as 'evidence' of global warming, mentioning specifically fires in Indonesia and Brazil. So there we are. Nothing to do with ranchers creating more land for farming, nothing to do with corrupt governments doing nothing to stop them. All the result of global warming.....

I would think a lot more about extinction rebellion if they went and did their protests in places like Brazil,India.Russia China and the USA but they wouldn't like that because of the reaction they would get.
When they do it in the UK which is a soft touch for protest I just think they are a load of phoneys taking the easy line.. Saves them having a job,I suppose..

A proper forest fire is probably generally neutral. It does chuck a lot of CO2 out, but it also produces a lot of fine particulates which disperse into the atmosphere and block the Sun's rays, thus providing a cooling effect. That's where man has screwed up because we engineer stuff for efficient, particulate-free burning so we get the CO2 but without the compensatory effects.

If anyone was ever in any doubt that the whole "Climate Emergency" thing was actually a new religion for the fervoured, easily led masses then just have a look at the High Priests and Priestesses of this new religion.

Stoopid silly bints! Looks like it could be to do with this ‘Gaia’ sh!t I’ve heard about lately. Maybe they’ll try making a burnt dinner offering to the Big Spaghetti Monster or something.

Still...they would make for good free humorous entertainment in the park over a few coldies from the Esky. Everyone could do with a few cost-free laughs and vocal ridicule-throwing these days.

Perhaps it is just a big fancy dress party that we have not been invited to?
