Do you have any indications that the peaceful protests will achieve anything?
If they don't, will people give up and go home, continue protesting pointlessly, or will some turn to violence?

Given that in next month's elections Spain is predicted to turn even further hard right, no, the Catalan demonstrations will achieve nothing. Using violence to protest will bring out the Spanish army. Again, but this time shooting. The only hope for the Catalans is support from Brussels, who are disinterested to say the least.

Spanish TV channels are showing a countdown clock.

Not Brexit ! The President of Catalunia has been given a deadline by which all yellow ribbons and the Catalan Estrella or battle flag have to be removed from all public buildings. The yellow ribbons are to acknowledge the opposition parliamentarians on trial in Madrid for sedition and rebellion.

If the President does not comply they'll be another one in prison by next week.

Day after day after bloody day. Nothing on the Catalan TV channels but live transmission from the trial of Catalan separatists in Madrid. Public prosecution by the Government and private prosecution by the new VOX party. Thank Bog I'm off back to civilisation on Monday.

Ten years ago every ground floor shop premises in this Figueras (Spain) street was in business. I took this photograph today at 11:45. Every shop except an Arab hairdresser has closed down.

The effects of an austerity fascist government until April 2018, replaced by Socialist government in that month, now ousted and new elections in four week's time.

Nope. Monday's late opening inland. On the coast shops open seven days a week. Only day closed is Dec 25th.

Can we stop linking to left wing propaganda sites like the BBC? ;)))
This link includes a video on the wolf pack rape case immediately below the bullet point.
Rise of nationalists vowing to 'make Spain great again'
in a section about the "Far Right" Vox party.
The video, and the case, has nothing to do with the election. It is not referred to in the article. In other articles about the wolf pack case, by both the BBC and the Guardian, there is no mention of a link to politics, including right wing politics.
This is dog whistle propaganda at its most blatant.

Trying to take in the big picture it seems what the established media always characterizes as 'right wing' is actually an expanding expression of people to determine their fates, reject failed ideologies and policies, and reassert the defense of their cultures. I grant a lot of people don't like that, but in my opinion those people are misinformed and misled.

I'm hopeful the ascendant recognition of what's at stake will increase in volume, electoral setbacks for the globalists, and ultimately seize the reins.

Feel free to post any links to the election from any source, this is the only one that I’ve found, never stated that it’s definitive.

Look Ben, I’ve found apostrophes :D

No, Ben. The Spanish far-right wants to deport ALL immigrants, legal or otherwise, so that's next year's fruit crop rotting on the ground. Remove the recent laws protecting women from marital (etc) violence, Spain having a very high rate of rapes and murders of women. And crush Catalonia's freedom hopes, by sending the Spanish army in. This is not a matter of what lefties think of Vox, but Vox's own manifestos.

A dummy representing the Catalan leader Puigemont was paraded through the streets of a small town outside Seville on Sunday by right-wing supporters of Madrid, hung from a tree, shot (guns and ammo provided by the Policia Locale) and set on fire.
Nothing has changed since the years before the Civil War.

Socialists back in power with more votes but no majority and every other party they might govern with utterly inimical to them. Fascist Vox party got lots of support. Looking at new general elections later in year. Spain becoming Italianate i.e. ungovernable by any one party.

Former Catalan President Carlos Puigemont has been denied immunity and banned from standing as a candidate for the EU elections by the Electoral Commission in Madrid. Appearing on appeal before the Spanish lower court, the prosecutor (?) took his side.
The court, unwilling to make a decision, referred the matter to the Spanish Supreme Court, which has already issued two arrest warrants for Puigemont.
And eight members of the Electoral Commission sit as judges on the Supreme Court.

Well, that should ensure a fair and impartial hearing...

I've seen a quote attributed to Banksy: "You are an acceptable level of threat and if you were not then you'd know it".

Would you believe it ! The Supreme Court found in favour of Puigemont and his two associates. He now has the right to stand as an MEP (and be arrested when he returns to Spain to be sworn in, legal immunity not withstanding.)

That's presumably why they found in his favour, otherwise he'd have no reason to return.
