The Jockistani gumment's insane idea of having different lockdowns in adjacent counties is truly bonkers.

For example, Fife has a known infection rate of 106 per 1000,000 of population and is not under lockdown while Falkirk which is under lockdown has a rate of only 69; Edinburgh which is also under lockdown is at 82.

How can it be that areas with lower rates of infection are under lockdown while adjacent areas which have higher rates (twice as much in some cases) are not under lockdown?

This whole schema of trying to slice and dice the country on a county or town basis is nuts. There should be one set of rules for the whole of Britain with very few exceptions such as the Northern and Western Isles which have zero or near-zero rates of infection.
