AtomK, I take exception to your comparison ‘twixt Blackford and a fanny ! !

A fanny is a beautifully designed piece of kit which prevents female bipeds from sinking when they swim and also provides great pleasure to one or more bipeds ! !

Similarly for the *rsehole which additionally for most of our lives keeps the cr*p in place and prevents us soiling our underwear but for some provides great pleasure etc !

The same principle applies to calling certain bipeds pricks or dicks, especially management, when they don’t deserve the accolade accorded to that body part.

So we must seek more derogatory and insulting terms for people like Blackford and maintain the reverence and gratitude for those lovely bits we were born with and hopefully which haven’t been modified post-natal? [-X

Scottish Chocolate Starfish?

That wonderful tome “Roger’s Profanisaurus” will also provide a plentiful source of suitable epithets!

bm - love that one - could you add 'barking' in there as well, as in barking spider?

barking spider(Noun) An instance of audible flatulence; a fart.

Blurter n. Aus. Chocolate starfish; ring.

Bourneville boulevard n. Arse; fudge tunnel.

Council gritter rhyming slang. Sh1tter; *rsehole; dirtbox. (Rhyming with Gary Glitter)

These are just a few from A-C of my thin 1998 edition, 5mm thick page size A5. Subsequent editions of Roger’s are much thicker and larger pages and will keep a complete flight deck crew awake during a long oceanic sector. Of course if one of the fairer sex is part of the crew then discretion is advised-no connection with FTLs!

For a decade now an element in Scotland has been single mindedly pushing for independence, this has included being as objectionable to the English as possible and disrupting Parliament when ever possible. The curious part of it is the Scots voted to stay in the UK by quite a margin then immediately voted overwhelmingly to put a party in Westminster that was determined to push for independence.

Now their desire for independence is being shared south of the border they even take umbrage at that, this article in the Guardian this morning is bewailing the fact that the English are now supporting Scottish Independence.
As ever with Johnson, there are pragmatic reasons for finally letting Scotland go, which resonate with an almost frightening level of personal ambition. The departure for good of all Scottish MPs would make it almost impossible for Labour to entertain any prospect of power in the foreseeable future. This would leave him virtually unopposed as prime minister of England for a generation.

Those polls indicating that a majority of English Brexiters would be happy to lose Scotland in the process merely reflected the rhetoric of Jacob Rees-Mogg and the European Research Group. Over the past three years their loudest cheers have come when they channel Trafalgar, Waterloo and cry God for Harry, England and St George. When they talk about taking back control and being free once more to make their own laws everyone knows these are English laws and English control. If only losing Northern Ireland were just as simple.

Once, a Tory prime minister would have been horrified at the prospect of going down in history as the one who lost Scotland. But at this time in this England Johnson would quickly be forgiven if he were also the man who delivered its independence.

As a Scot, and an Independence supporter....and an expat, I'm really glad the way things are going.

Once we become independent, we can kick those idiot SNP to the kerb, and get back to voting Tory!

I'm one of the many 'double leavers'.

Leave the EU, then leave the UK.

But I admit, it's easier as an expat.....😂

(I like a joke, but things have really GOT TO CHANGE, in the UK....sooner would be better).

Has the imminent independent Scotland administration costed the new hard border (the Jockstrap) to be constructed between Berwick-on-Tweed and Gretna?

I expect the SNP's hated enemy 'Westminster' will be expected to foot the bill!

FD2 from your response to this, can I take it that you are an Englishman and not a Scot abiding in the thrifty Scottish kingdom hitherto known as NZ? :))

Yes - lived for years in Scotland and loved it. Shame it's being run (in a loose sense) by the verminous, whining SNP! I just wish there was some way to lance the 300 year old boil the SNP keeps prodding.

Amen Sir.

Let good men and spirits abide...

I wish you happiness in NZ. Apparently that is lot easier than it is here in England/France/Turkey at the moment! :)

As for Scotland I am emotional about that place, which helps nobody...

Excellent sales pitch for Wee Nicola Krankie’s party as the election football match kicks off?

How arrogant and distant from the man on the Gorbals bus can these cretins get?

Not forgetting the Westminster expenses scandal which caused John Major to prorogue Parliament when the heat in/on the HoC got too much?

I think we need a revolution......! [-X

Nicola Sturgeon today:
......the upcoming election was a chance for Scotland to "escape the Brexit chaos" and become an independent EU country
An independent EU country....Hmm, an oxymoron if ever there was one.
