fled?
From what was she fleeing?
She wasn't fleeing anything. This is a straight lie.
Or as it's called in England, standard reporting for the Daily Mail.

Priti Patel for PM.
She has been unwavering in her stance on this vile creature. I believe she also once expressed support for the death penalty.
British Jihadi bride Shamima Begum should give up hope of returning to the UK, Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, has indicated.
Ms Patel said there was “no way” that Ms Begum, 19, would be allowed back into the UK because of her involvement with the “death cult” of the terrorist group Isil.
Ms Begum left Britain to join Isil in Syria in 2015 where she spent more than three years, marrying one of the terror group’s fighters, Yago Riedijk, a Dutch born jihadist.
Last week she pleaded to be allowed to return home, saying her only role in the so-called caliphate was to "make babies".
However, when Ms Begum’s request was put to Ms Patel, the Home Secretary replied: "No way, no way".
"Our job is to keep our country safe," Ms Patel told The Sun. "We don't need people who have done harm and left our country to be part of a death cult and to perpetrate that ideology.
"We cannot have people who would do us harm allowed to enter our country - and that includes this woman.
"Everything I see in terms of security and intelligence, I am simply not willing to allow anybody who has been an active supporter or campaigner for IS in this country."

Shamima Begum is "at risk of hanging" says her lawyer, "now she's been deprived of her British nationality." (BBC news clip today).
No doubt we will see the Abbots and Chakrabatis up on their hind legs whining about injustice as usual.

I'm appalled to hear that.Shamima Begum is "at risk of hanging" says her lawyer, "now she's been deprived of her British nationality."
Hanging is far too quick and kind. She deserves far worse than that.
Anyway she chose to go and support a barbaric regime, now she must accept what they mete out.

Reading 'through' the headline, I see that the lawyers are not claiming that she's at risk of being hanged by the US state-sponsored terrorists who currently occupy the American Sector of Syria.
Instead, they are claiming that if she, as a de facto stateless person, were to try to immigrate to Bangladesh she would be at risk of a hanging sentence for doing so.
In view of the tens of thousands of Rohingya illegal immigrants to that ShangriLa of a country, none of whom have been executed for the offence, I don't think the claim is very plausible.

I dunno. Speaking to Bangladudes I know back in the Gulf, the bitch probably won’t be hung but of course the Int’l bleeding heart brigade would put pressure on the ‘desh to be let in. But they said she’d be ostracized once word spread and would have no hope of gainful employment. So slowly starving to death sounds good for a piece of sh!t like that.

Begum has just been granted the right to return to the UK to fight her case. Presumably if she loses she'll claim asylum as a Bangladesh citizen at risk of blah, blah, blah...

I wonder if she's thought about the possibility of being arrested for supporting terrorism the moment she steps on to UK soil.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

She should be allowed to appeal if that is what the court has decided. She can do it by video link from where she is, she doesn't have to come here to do it. Once back we will never get rid of her.

You can be sure that her every word and gesture will be recorded and analysed by The Security Service and The Secret Intelligence Service.
If she's really such a big deal, she'll have useful Intel to give them.
If she's just a silly wee schoolgirl, infatuated with the idea of becoming a 'freedom fighter', she won't. If the latter, there's not much point in treating her like some kind of Voodoo doll, is there?

“In a really bad way” mentally sounds grim.
IIRC the Da’esh way of curing those who were not ‘thinking’ correctly was removal of the head, thereby causing instant alleviation of the syndrome.

"Da’esh" was a propaganda name generated by Voice of America and the BBC World Service. Its use is a clear watermark indicator of consumers (and barkers) of such propaganda.

If you wish to give this particular deviant form of Homo sapiens some credulity by referring to them as a “State”, then so be it.Undried Plum wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 7:06 am"Da’esh" was a propaganda name generated by Voice of America and the BBC World Service. So what is the Undried Plum approved word to describe this particular band of savages which does NOT confer some air of respectability?
