Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
Quelle surprise! No attempt to understand or reply to my post, just the usual idiotic rantings. As for the link, nowhere in there does it say that Trump has banned anyone from speaking, which is what you are advocating. Your ignorance comes as no surprise, my little Marxist. Go away and play now, the adults need to talk.
Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
Trump has the right to visit, the people of the UK have the right to let him know what they think of him and what better way to do that then have him right there to witness their opinions?
Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
One item of good news today, the Queen has refused to invite the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to the special banquet in honour of the visit of Mr Trump. Presumably the Queen is as disgusted with the conduct of the Mayor as the rest of us.
His point blank refusal to address the soaring knife crime issue in London, spending thousands upon thousands of tax payers money on anti British firework displays and his attempt to overthrow democracy in his adopted country precludes him from being invited to tea with the Queen, and so it should.
Nigel Farage on the other hand has received a VIP invitation.
Her Majesty would appear to share our values, pity those we pay to represent us don't.

It is a great pity that the monarch no longer has the power to send people such as the thoroughly objectionable and useless Khan to the Tower of London to have their heads chopped off. I am sure she would love to do so.
Good for her for inviting Farage. He may turn out to be a significant and positive force in British politics after all.

I would imagine that the exclusion and admission of guests to Trump's bash might have been ordained by DT.

DT? Surely not the Daily Telegraph, i.e. the Barclay Brothers advertising catalogue..

It's a great pity that she can't and won't speak her mind publically on matters of politics and current affairs. She actually has some quite surprising views. For example, her favourite PM was Harold Wilson and her least favourite was Attila the Hen.
One might think that someone of her station in life and German family background might hold conservative views and might fear social justice or "socialism", but no.
Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
Another favourite was Alex Salmond, before he got nicked for groping that is.

Well as he and Trump are socially acquainted, it will give both of them somebody to speak to and save the Queen the futility of trying to have an intelligent conversation with Trump..and listening to Nige ranting.... at the same time....perfect choice of complimentary guests really.Capetonian wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 9:55 amIt is a great pity that the monarch no longer has the power to send people such as the thoroughly objectionable and useless Khan to the Tower of London to have their heads chopped off. Perhaps she could send hubby to go pick them both up in his Range Rover, they could sit in the back and chat on the way to the banquet.

And so to the desecration of the UK with the imminent arrival of Trump.
Nothing like showing your true nature with two endorsements of equally repulsive narcissists , but hey, that's what friends are for.
Looks like Tuesday will be my day to join the protests in London.....any of you chaps fancy joining me ?....but, in the interim, here's a nice article to start your day....

One can only hope that you reap your just rewards for your political convictions, and that, sooner than later.
Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
He won't even be near the protests. Like most of his type, he's a cowardly keyboard warrior. All gob and fake bravado and no action. Anyway he's often stated he hates London so why would he go there?
I would go to.show my support for Trump's visit, but will be elsewhere on that day, a couple of thousand miles away.

It's not really etiquette to write in such glowing and definitive terms about yourself....even when these are well established traits.Capetonian wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 7:13 amHe won't even be near the protests. It's shame though you have a prior engagement, we could have met and exchanged social pleasantries
But, for once, you are correct. I don't like London. However, as I attended last year to protest, I will happily repeat this again given I only have one specific reason for doing so, and it's only a brief visit, before I am conveyed back to civilisation.
Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
I must echo OFSO's words here. I hope you end up being thrown into the back of a police van with a few bruises for good measure. But you won't be close enough to the action for that to happen, sadly.
My thoughts go with you on your 'protest' trip to London. May it all end badly for you.

Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
That's very thoughtful of you, but, alas, as with my last visit and indeed with other demonstrations I have attended, I will be there purely for peaceful protest.Capetonian wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 8:09 amI must echo OFSO's words here. My first thought then was how will we know.
My second was peace, perfect peace.

Re: Chaos ( hopefully ) in London and the South East.
Bit of a mini-bib dribble fest there chaps....hope you all went to bed suitably sated.
Back to the unwanted visitor.
With many of you being such stalwart patriots, I take it you will be outraged at the not so little matter of "everything being on the table ", hence the promotion of a willing accomplice, Boris, to enable this vision to come to fruition. The NHS being of particular interest, although most of you probably have your own private medical care anyway, so are unlikely to worry about the millions who don't.
The bit about the UK population not having to buy products they don't want to is quite patronising really.....be better still if we didn't have the option in the first place.....
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... de-demands
And a special mention for Sun readers, and their supporters.....today's headlines includes this little gem "Prez flies in ".....which will save any Sun readers the confusion of trying to understand what President means.
