I think the standard of wit in 'comedy' programmes has almost disappeared. The relentless rise of the standard BBC leftie variety which has bored audiences for the last 15 or 20 years and the inexorable rise of political correctness has put the lid on it. That just leaves Johnson, Trump and Putin plus the Royal Family. Oh and don't forget expensive lawyers and 'cease and desist' letters. I certainly won't pay to watch it.

Humour nowadays more often just replaces wit with swearing, as there is little talent amongst the performers.

Remember Dame Edna and her Up the Stairs 'surprise' bedroom excursions which were then emulated in a sucession of programmes. The last iteration being Jack Whitehall creeping into the bedroom.

Good old Tony Hand Cock apparently 'mispoke' recently when he said trials of Vitamin D had 'failed'. They haven't. Good man.

WORD DEFINITION: To 'mispeak': A word used by politicians to admit they have got it wrong.

Actually BOAC it is usually an admission, in other words, that they downright lied.

Since I have been taking extra vitamin D on the advice of Dr. Campbell a long standing low level sinus/nasal problem that was something an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist told me I would just have to learn to live with has cleared up almost completely.

I am still utterly appalled that our famous Dr. Fauci finally admitted that he took 6,000 units of vitamin D a day, and had been doing so for months, because "he thought it helped". Apparently it did not help enough to be worthwhile for the rest of the population!

Here is his latest.

What I said Friday is mirrored in the Telegraph today - lack of Cabinet's characters, And they also say you can't lampoon Trump any more. You can't lampoon Sussex or York without threat of legal action.

Rod should try to keep up X(
Middlesbrough mayor Andy Preston has urged people to follow new restrictions on social mixing designed to stop the spread of coronavirus, so they can be relaxed as soon as possible.

From midnight it will become illegal for people from different households to mix in any indoor setting or private garden in Middlesbrough and Hartlepool.

The law covers homes and public venues such as pubs and restaurants.

The same restrictions came into force on Wednesday in Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Northumberland, South Tyneside, North Tyneside and County Durham County Council areas.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

One problem is that the local boundaries have been moved and messed with so often, the the local press is having to explain which town the people live in!

Boris on Andrew Marr show this morning.

More blundering and bumbling with excuses will be the order.

Bumbly Two was the fattest and most jovial of the trio, and Bumbly Three was the dim one, who always got things wrong.

Boris Johnson has claimed he is "fitter than several butchers dogs" (BBC).
Discuss, with illustrations if possible.

Apologies for the source but Steve Bell takes no prisoners from either side of UK politics.

But alas when it comes to discussion I am lost for words... (-|

If Boris's bonk is abroad, when she returns will she self-isolate at No11 with Boris?

Oooh dear, things NOT going well in the HoL for our 80 seat majority Conservative administration?!

I wonder how long before Farage's proposals to reform the House of Lords becomes Conservative policy?

Poor Priti Patel not sitting pretty any more, if ever she was comfortable in the Home Office. :-q

Note the list of misteaks performed under the impression they were applying ‘the law’!
