TGG, sadly I have to agree that her vacuous grin when she thinks she has made a point/joke is hideous.

And wined and dined our MP of less than 2 years standing at a Mayfair Club.

Either he is a high flyer or she is seeking votes

And you thought it was OK to go back to the pub!

U.K. police receive dozens of reports of needle spiking in bars, clubs
The majority of incidents have involved young women who have reported being drugged with injections or their drinks spiked.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/uk-p ... s-rcna4304

LONDON — Police in the United Kingdom are sounding the alarm after receiving a growing number of reports of people being spiked in bars and clubs across the country, with some alleging to have been targeted with needle injections.

Reports of nightclub spiking attempts have been headline news across the country in recent weeks, with hundreds reporting to police that their drinks have been spiked or that they’ve been drugged with injections at bars, clubs and other venues, according to Britain’s National Police Chiefs Council.

The reports have involved female and male victims, the council said, although the majority of incidents have involved young women, according to police.

On Tuesday, the Sussex Police in South East England announced that they had made two arrests in connection with reports of “needle sticking and drink spiking.”

On Sunday, a 28-year-old man from the seaside town of Hove was arrested on suspicion of administering poison with intent to injure, police said. A 19-year-old man from neighboring Brighton was arrested the following day on suspicion of the same offense.

In a statement, the Sussex Police said the department had received “a number of recent reports of people becoming unwell during or after nights out, with some finding puncture marks on their body or believing their drink had been tampered with.”
The arrests in Sussex come as police departments in cities across the U.K., including London, Edinburgh and Nottingham, face growing reports of spiking, including allegations of needle injections.

The National Police Chiefs Council said authorities are on alert after receiving a "concerning" number of these reports in September and October.

The council has asked departments across the U.K. to provide numbers for how many allegations they had received over the course of the two months.

As of Oct. 23, Deputy Chief Constable Jason Harwin, the council’s drug lead, said British police had received a total of 56 confirmed reports of alleged spiking incidents "involving some form of injection."

From 'Spencer' to 'The Crown': The cultural reappraisal of Princess Diana
At least 198 reports of drink spiking over the same time period had also been received. That number could be higher, however, with the council still collating data.

Harwin, who warned of the "concerning" influx of spiking reports in a statement last week, said the council, along with police forces and other law enforcement partners, including Britain’s National Crime Agency, were in the process of building a “problem profile” on the matter.

In the meantime, he said, he would “encourage anyone who believes they have been a victim or witness to spiking, in any form, to contact their local police force.”

His message comes amid growing concerns for women’s safety in the U.K. after a number of women shared accounts on social media detailing experiences in which they say they were targeted in needle spiking attempts.

In some of the posts, which have not been verified by NBC News, women describe blacking out or feeling unwell and then waking up the next morning to find a puncture wound somewhere on their bodies.

Spurred to action, people in cities across the country participated in a weeklong boycott of nightclubs last week to call for strengthened security measures at venues, including mandatory checks at the doors for drugs and weapons.

Dubbed “Girls Night In,” the boycotting campaign saw protesters gather in city streets, including in Manchester, where demonstrators could be seen in photos holding up signs with slogans like “Girls just wanna have fun, not get spiked.”

In a statement posted on Twitter, British legislator Nadia Whittome said she stands "in solidarity" with protesters.

"We shouldn't have to do this," she said.

With more apologies for parties at No 10 - this time to the Palace for partying on the day of PtG's funeral - you have to ask who the hell is in charge of staff discipline at No 10? Is it Boris or is it some unsackable civil servant? It's reported that Boris wasn't anywhere near No 10 on that day, he was at Chequers, so who allowed the party to happen? It's about time those who "work" there were told that if they want to party, they f*** off to a pub.

Suggestion: instead of all these apologies to different people, why not one Giant Weekly Apology to citizens of the UK, the EU and the World, saying something like "Sorry for having such an utterly useless lying knobhead running (or not) the UK".

Doing so was illegal at the time.

Downing Street has got great big **** gates and armed guards and the garden has a tall wall. What better place to break the rules? Party hearty and bugger the little people.

Boris's strategy now seems to be to abolish the public health regulations, pitifully feeble as they are, and let the infection rip.

He seems to hope that his ignoreance (not ignorance) of the laws will seem less of a mortal sin if they no longer exist.

For Boris, it's all about saving Boris. The bereaved of the 150,000 killed by his incompetent bungling of the epidemic in the UK may take a different view, as may the many hundreds of thousands who suffered grievously from Covid-19's devastating medical effects.

First, drastically curtail the PCR testing which shows the true extent of the spread of the virus. Then abolish the public health measures which are so detested by the Tory Party donors.

Last resort: a small 'winnable' war to distract the sheeple. Not a big Blair style war to end all wars, just a pissy wee propaganda war against countries which can't fight back. China, Russia, that sort of thing....

“wastrel: noun

One who wastes, especially one who wastes money; a profligate.

An idler or a loafer.

Anything cast away as spoiled in the making, or bad; waste; refuse”.

What a wonderful word and so little used in today’s English language ! ?

Seeing this article is what brought that word into my befuddled mind so here to cheer up this Sunday morning is a fair summary of the has-been whom some unfortunately wish to be back ‘in control;

https://dailysceptic.org/2023/06/17/bor ... socialism/

I don’t think he’ll use that glowing testimony for his updated CV. =))

Edited to add: yet another Tory MP steps down following the usual coke-sniffing and excessive quaffing of extra strong Japanese whisky, then getting frisky with the ladies, allegedly.

And I thought Warburtons was a wholesome bread loaf until I discovered.... Complete the rest of the advertising slogan and win a slice of the action! :YMPARTY:

A thirteen-year-old schoolgirl was reportedly reprimanded by her teacher at a Church of England school in East Sussex after she expressed skepticism about a peer’s identification as a cat.

The incident occurred during a Year 8 class on “life education” at Rye College last Friday, where students were told to “be who you want to be – and how you identify is up to you”.According to an audio recording that surfaced on TikTok, the teacher intervened when one of the students asked, “How can you identify as a cat when you’re a girl?”

In response, the teacher admonished the students, warning them that their gender-critical views are being reported to a senior leader.

If they want to identify as a cow or something then they are genuinely unwell – crazy,” the pupil responded.

The teacher questioned the source of their beliefs and emphasised gender was not solely determined by biological characteristics but by how individuals identify themselves.
She further said there are three biological sexes and numerous genders, including transgender and agender.

(This is the utter crap to which our kids are forced to listen.)

Unlike the French, the Brits are nor revolting, yet, but our politicos appear to be unaware of the steam pressure gauge needle creeping towards the red line;

"Is Britain on the Verge of a Popular Uprising? (EDIT: Taken from the 'Daily Sceptic')
BY RICHARD ELDRED 3 AUGUST 2023 5:00 PM

In today’s Britain, there’s a disturbing trend of unpopular policies being foisted upon the public. It’s as if the elite is turning a blind eye to public opinion, says Allister Heath in the Telegraph. It’s time for politicians to start listening to the voters before things get out of hand. Here’s an excerpt:

Britain’s deranged war on cars, our looming ban on gas boilers, the de-banking scandal, the failure to prosecute crime, the attempted cancellation of women, the sabotage of the Brexit agenda, the scale of migration: welcome to anti-democratic Britain, where the beleaguered majority is increasingly subject to the whims of an entitled, activist elite that often seems to despise the people over which it exercises so much power.

All the policies listed above share a devastating commonality: they are deeply unpopular, and would be crushed in a referendum after a fair campaign, were the politicians courageous enough to grant the public a say (in the case of Brexit, they did, of course, and continue to this day to resist implementing the revolutionary change implied by the vote).

In a truly majoritarian society, one where the demos actually exercised kratos, no form of crime would be tolerated, and certainly not burglaries or muggings. Nobody would dare to indoctrinate school children with extreme trans ideology, and the green agenda would be centred around urgent technological innovation rather than seeking to prevent working people from flying to holidays in the sun.

Yet we live in a very different political reality, one in which public opinion is flagrantly disregarded whenever it doesn’t align with the views of the ruling class. Westminster has become cartelised: the large parties are committed to an unrealistic dash to Net Zero, refuse to discuss the gargantuan cost involved, and omit to mention that Britain’s carbon emissions are about 3% of China’s. On the great subjects of our time – family policy, the size of the state, the NHS and even planning rules – there is little difference between Tory, Labour and Lib Dem MPs, disenfranchising millions.

The intellectual conformity is stultifying, and has been reinforced by the emergence of an all-powerful Blob, the nexus of mandarins, policy advisers, quangocrats and other government agents, a class of “public servants” who don’t really like the public and are increasingly convinced that they have a constitutional duty to constrain and contain elected politicians. They are experts at delay, prevarication and lawfare, and are cheered on by the Left-wing activists who have taken over the legal profession, our cultural institutions, academia, charities and even many big companies.

Thus even in the rare instances when the Tories attempt to think the unthinkable and respond to public opinion, as with the Channel crossings, the system does its best to block any change, empowered by quasi-constitutional legislation such as the Equality Act, the Climate Change Act and our membership of the ECHR.

The upshot is an extraordinary disempowerment of the electorate: is it any wonder that some voters fear we risk becoming a democracy in name only? Take the absurd war on cars: a tiny minority of activists, council planners, devolved administrations and ministers are seeking to discourage the mode of transport that the vast majority of the population relies on. Or consider immigration, which is a lot higher than the public would like: all potential solutions to reduce numbers while preserving the economy are lambasted as gimmicks, meaningless or self-evidently stupid. The Tories have promised to cut numbers in every single one of their manifestos since at least the 1990s, and yet aren’t even pretending to try any longer. How does this not disastrously undermine trust in politicians?"

Anybody want buy a second-hand pre-prototype 21st Century ex-trials guillotine, going cheap, buyer collects? :-w

Beware of revolving doors, there’s always a chance one might get fingers or even limbs trapped as the doors spin;

“–A prominent figure in the U.K.’s pandemic response has become a medical consultant at pharmaceutical giant Moderna, according to the Independent. Revolving doors?”

This refers to that damn Jonathan Van Tamm, one of the stars of the daily Drowning Street doom-laden ‘plague’ briefings which entertained us all in 2020/2021 and formerly deputy chief quack for the UK, before he jumped ship.

No mystery there if one sticks to t(e golden rule FOLLOW THE MONEY when looking back at the plandemic e g;

“The growing influence of pharmaceutical giants on the media and governments should concern us all, says Jeffrey A. Tucker in the Epoch Times.”

So as we follow the trail of dirty used notes through the system, here is a new wheeze to reduce the costs of the ‘stabs’ to the taxpayers of Blighty but which will improve the bottom lines for BigHarma and their acolytes;

“Covid jab manufactures are preparing to make booster shots available for the public to buy after health officials gave the green light to private sales for the first time, reports the Times.”

So get ready to roll up your banknotes as well as your sleeves as we hurtle towards the next plandemic of the much-heralded scariant Disease ‘X’!

If that campaign is successful may we see a “Buy one, get one free” deal thrown in also? X(
